Poor connection

Every time I try and start a workout it says connection error and retry

Worth it so far...

I have an Apple Watch Series 1 that I use for heart rate monitoring in Zwift. My watch is stuck at WatchOS 6.3 and Zwift stopped supporting it in late 2022. I switched to the free HeartCast app and that worked OK but was glitchy and had many brief dropouts. With the last iPhone update to OS 17.3.1, HeartCast disappeared from my watch and according to the App Store, BlueHeart was the only app still supporting my watch. With the free version, the ad would not display so the app wouldn't work. I paid for the Pro version in hopes that it would work and it worked perfectly - connecting immediately and no dropouts during my Zwift ride 👍
I took off one star for the ad-supported version not working and will update later if I have any issues.

Waste of Money

Does not work. Do not buy. Wasted workout time.

Poor.

Watch a 30 second ad to be told to try again, but first watch another 30second advert. No thanks, disgusting practice.

Pro-form Pro 5000 - iFit - Works great!

Love the app, works great! Note that you have to disable adblockers for it to work properly. I also have to power cycle my treadmill after each session. I think these two solutions will resolve 95% of the issues people run into. I use it every day!

My only request for the app is it would be amazing if it could increase the frequency that it reads / broadcasts my heart rate as the competitor app does.

Won’t connect to machine more than once, no iPad support

App passed the compatibility test once then wont reconnect subsequently to do an actual workout. No iPad ui support just stretched phone layout. Health not supported on iPad. No option for a refund.

Credit card for free app

Seriously - a credit card is required to activate a “FREE” app? Forget it!

Doesn’t work

Sorry to say that this app just doesn’t work. Be great if someone could make an app that does this and actually does work.

Doesn’t work

Did a test. It connected. Upgraded to pro and will no longer connect to Garmin 1040. Very frustrating. Waste of time and money.

Are you serious?

Sure, make me watch an ad to use an app for free, but an ad for guns right as another school shooting is making headlines? Deleting the app now and forever. Check your sponsors…

Didn’t work with my Garmin 1030 plus bike computer

Garmin had no problem finding the BlueHeart app during pairing, it just NEVER got any data. The app said it was broadcasting at 80 bpm every time I checked over a 5’ span of time, conversely the watch was always saying my heart rate was 60-65 bpm. I couldn’t get the app to work so after futzing around for 5’ I just deleted the app.

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!

Awesome!

works flawlessly with my ICG IC6 Bike. Thanks a lot!

Stopped connecting

This was a hit or miss for a while and now it just stopped working altogether. I’m so annoyed with this and will have to look for another app

Does not work. Period.

I really wanted this app to live up to its promises but after a year of futzing, this app simply does not work reliably. Or at all, it seems lately. I started with the free version and it worked pretty well. Well enough to make the pro version worth it. That was a mistake. Connection issues constantly. The instructions are convoluted asking you to press buttons or dismiss dialogs that don’t actually don’t exist. Completely useless

Don’t spend your money on this.

Clueless developer

This app just doesn’t work. Period. Never connects with watch. It complained the watch app wasn’t installed on first run even though it automatically installed after DL.

Works about half the time

Doesn’t connect to the watch about every 4-5 workouts. Of course, you don’t know this until you’re starting your workout. Crap app.

Not stable enough, keeps crashing

Save yourself the time and money, just buy a hr monitor

Does not work

After spending 30 minutes getting it to connect it then just showed a blank screen where the heart rate should be. Waste of time.

Rarely connects on the first try

I waste about 20 minutes every time I try connect the app to my equipment (Echelon bike). This app is not recommended.
