What's New in Blurize
1.5.1
July 16, 2026
Projects are here — your work is no longer lost when you close the app. • Every video and photo you import is now saved as a project. Your face scan, your selections and your edits are all kept, so you can close Blurize, come back tomorrow, and carry on exactly where you left off. • The same file always reopens the same project — no duplicates. • Projects live on your home screen as a strip under the pick buttons. Tap one to open it, press and hold to rename or delete it. Tap "See all" for the full grid. • Everything stays on your device, as always. A project is stored in your app's own private folder and is never backed up to the cloud. Also in this release: • Much better face tracking. Faces are now followed with motion prediction, so people are no longer lost — or swapped with someone else — when the camera cuts between shots. • Faster scanning. Frames are decoded only once and faces are detected several frames at a time, so a scan finishes noticeably sooner on long clips. • Double-tap any face to give it its own colour or emoji, separate from the rest. • Choose a fast or a precise scan, and blur now stays locked to the face during playback.
