Missing the old app
Miss the the articles along with easier tracking your and nice layout, this new version idoesn’t work half the time or the videos really disappointed I thought they would work on it more
App down for nearly 2 weeks.
Wow this app has gotten worse. I signed up for a promised 7 day trial and was immediately billed. So I gave it a go, what can I say it’s an unusable fall from grace from the simple clean UI of the distant past. Avoid this app.

I missed the programs this app had, so after a long hiatus, I came back and… well deleted it promptly. Everything from the Font to the UI basic usability is a failure. They managed to make it near unusable from how the app was years ago.
Do not install, pass this app up. They have a record of failure that your reps could ever achieve.
Can Apple please audit this app and remove it from the store? It’s time bodybuilding.com shape up or lose the privilege of reach to users on iOS.

When this app works it’s great, but currently it has not been accessible for nearly 2 weeks. Fortunate for me my auto renewal would have started in a few days so I was able to cancel it. Please fix the app and I will come back, until then I advise anyone to look elsewhere for a fitness app.
EDIT: Keeping it the one star they earned. Took weeks for them to acknowledge the app went down, been using this app for years and it’s apparent the dev lost focus on the community. Switched to Boostcamp, BodyFit needs to vastly update this app and put redundancies in place to minimize downtime before I would consider subscribing again.

Use to be great app, sucks now
I still used the app after the big update hoping they would fix all the issues. They did fix some and I did suggest a few via instagram and saw them implemented. So that was nice. But no one asked for the social media platform and their server and interface does not look like it was built to sustain it. They should have made the apps separate, a workout app “BodyFit” and a social media app maybe called “BodyFitBook” or something. Melting both ideas together before establishing market demand sandbag the great aspects of the fitness app and created disdain for the social platform. Not recognizing your competition is Instagram and the quality of their platform already far exceeds what you released.
It seemed like all of your trainers hated the update as much as everyone else because all of their lives people were shouting how much we hated it and no one wanted to address the issue. The trainers ignored the cries of the people like a red headed step child.
Icing on the cake is I’ve still been paying the $9.99 monthly subscription and using the app on a regular basis. Then today I go to look at my workouts and it says I need to pay the subscription fee… again! I just got charged last week! Now I can’t do my workout. I can’t justify this anymore. I’m switching to Hevy.
