BOH APP
This app need to be updated to the new IOS 18.3. The current app does not work with the update. When I use the current app and try to login I get the error message that it cannot connect it is being denied
App is SLOW!!!!

Every time the bank changes their software things get messed up, and I get locked out of my accounts. Please stop changing things they work just fine before.

Miss the old version
Honestly the old app was better. This new one has lots of bugs and I get locked out of my account constantly. All I want to do is check my balance, but no, it’s not so simple anymore. I’m really staring to hate the new app. Wish it were the old one.

Account Activity
I see the activity but not the running total after each Activity. I asked for help at my bank and we adjusted the setting , but shortly thereafter it.reverted back so that that final column ie. the running balances are not shown again.
No access
As of September 8 2024, can’t access the app and check my account. So you encourage everyone to go paperless and this kind of ____ happens.

Site doesn’t work too often, with the message “try again later”. BOH fees are unreasonable high. BOH puts holds on deposits occasionally for longer then it takes for the checks to clear. There are better alternatives such as Credit Unions or Online Banks.

Completely useless, no point in updating to a newer version. Forced me to download the new app just to find out my account can’t be accessed. Tried signing back into the old app but was forced to use the new app that is not usable. Their mobile app has been out for years and bank of Hawaii still is not capable of creating a reliable app.

Trying to get this app to work on my iPhone was frustrating. 1 hour later on customer support and it’s still not set up.

Lousy app on many levels
Kludgy. Deposits don’t work. You can’t copy your account numbers. I could go on and on.
Mobile deposit
This was my first mobile deposit. I was confused once I took an image of the front as to how to accept that image and move on to the back. I finally figured out to press the green button. Need clarification for the next step.
