BOLDR Pro: Supercharging the Jobsite
The new version 2 release fixed all existing issues I had. The new T1M firmware upgrades are a massive improvement over the old versions. The new job layout suits my workflow well.
Photos, measurements, and sharing!
I have a T1m so I naturally tried out the App. There is a surprising amount of functionality offered past the basics of measurement syncing. It’s basically like Evernotes but with a focus on measuring.
Huge plus is that all the data on mobile can be viewed online on my PC which means I don’t need to download or send photos over email everything is automatically present on both the App and its Web companion!

So wanted this to work
Got a T1m thru Kickstarter- was excited but connection to BOLDR Pro is not happening. Tried all the suggestions from the support page and nothing worked. No connection, no update, not data transfer - total waste of time. Great way to support your Kickstarters….

Absolutely trash software lags constantly not good at all
Useless app
App is completely useless. My T1 shows as connected to the app but no measurements are recorded. Furthermore, I get prompted to update the T1 firmware but the app keeps freezing and crashing.
Didn’t work
Goals to update T1 device firmware, fails to transfer measurements.

Really clean and easy app to navigate. It’s not complicated and makes it simple to track projects and I recommend it
confusing and hard to navigate
The basic navigation and how to send measurements from the Tomahawk to the app is beyond confusing and logical. I feel like you’d be better off scrapping all the “extras” and just doing a simple cut lists. There just doesn’t seem to be a point for so much of the app and things just feel, cluttered and hard to work with. Overall not impress at all. Especially given the price I paid for the Tape Measure.
