Time display is still wrong
6th report (3rd update later) and the QUEENSLAND time is still wrong for horizontal displays for ‘today’ and ‘past’ page.
Rather important to the function of the app one would have thought?
Not surprising. BOM doesn’t read or respond to reviews anymore (last Dev response +2yrs ago!).

The TIME displayed for ‘today, tomorrow etc” horizontal menu for QLD is WRONG
One would think this would be deemed a significant problem, alas not so for BOM.
Ignored for 2 updates now.
*Feedback form on app is either ‘offline’ or simply ignored, as are these reviews - nobody is checking the AppStore reviews anymore. Shock!

I used to be a proud BOM supporter but it seems you’ve lost focus on the main objective - accurate weather forecasting. Now you obsess over unnecessary details in an app. Let those who love the weather minutiae find it on your web pages. De-clutter the app and maybe it will help you refocus. Good Feng shui I hear.

Broken display
Guys, it’s not that hard to use dynamic resizing of the display…. How on earth can an app stay broken for this long😂.
You guys updated it yesterday, (3rd update since it broke the landscape view), and now it’s finally compete, the portrait view is screwed also. 🤦♂️😂

It’s the most accurate app when you compare with other apps.
One thing I wish to improve is the rain map time. 3 hours would be great.

Not seeing the $90+ million dollars in development in this app. It’s a joke for what it cost Australians.
Just wrong
The new app is just always wrong! Nothing o the radar when it's raining and temperatures inaccurate. Info differs from my partner's phone in the same room. Stupid.

Poor Observations
It astounds me that the national weather broadcaster uses observations from a weather station over 60 kilometres away for a location that’s weather is typically 4 to 5 degrees warmer and is not influenced by the same climate do to it being north of the area be measured

Rain map has changed
What have you done with the rain map? It used to be quite accurate. Now, it’s been raining all day and the weather map shows light patches of rain, if any at all. This App has become poor.
One map of the other!
Your radar map on the other site is far superior than the one you show here. It SAYS it’s from the BoM. The one that shows on this site is quite odd!

Great App but the hourly data is messed up
Why is the hourly temperature scale hiding the first few hours so I can’t see the temperature for the next 3 hours from now?? It wasn’t like this until the last month or so.

Historical data is sort of visible based on real rainfall plus location however it is totally unacceptable that the predicted direction and rainfall turns into a scattered mess! How many hundreds of millions were spent on this app and service???

Hangs when opening map view.
Love the app but as of June July 2026 when the app is opened and I go immediately to map view the radar doesn’t come up. Going back and returning to map view doesn’t fix it. I need to close the app and it works on the second attempt. Apple iPad 26.5.1
Big widgets for iPad
I love using BOM as my weather source, but it doesn’t have extra large widgets for the iPad Home Screen like the native Apple weather app does. I’d love a big widget so I can replace the Apple weather one.

Takes longer to download, and the details are a bit off.
Map data not present.
Every time the map is opened to look at the satellite image of the rain data there is nothing, just the map with a message saying: “There was a problem loading the data”. The app has to be forced closed for the data to appear.
