WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO BOM??!?
Great app functionally, but the prediction accuracy is woeful. You could previously use this app to predict rain time and mm accurately down to the hour… but everything has been watered down in 2026 so now BOM app is about as helpful as looking out the window 😩😩

Compared to weather forecasting in the past BOM is often wrong but it does give a basic idea of what the day will be like

Patchy and less accurate since went national
Less reliable for actual location and my local radar hasn’t worked properly for months but provides information for other locations now (irrelevant to me most of the time). Bought my own weather station so I can get local weather.

The app got butchered about 4 updates ago, landscape view was messed up. A.I. ain’t the best at web design🤣
If it was a real person, I’d question their skills and qualifications.
The landscape issue has been fixed in this most recent update, great!
Now I don’t have to pull the view to the left to see current details…
BUT…
The bot messed up portrait view now 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve used free tier bots and even they double check themselves.
Looking forward to see how much more this ai bot y’all are using can mess things up more🤣

Awful user interface, not well designed
Skeuomorphism has been replaced with counterintuitive flat ‘design’.
The worst weather app
The BOM was already bad and after the 96 million $$$ update it’s even worse! Get Accuweather, it’s got way more features and information, faster, looks better, everything about it is better.

6th report (3rd update later) and the QUEENSLAND time is still wrong for horizontal displays for ‘today’ and ‘past’ page.
Rather important to the function of the app one would have thought?

The TIME displayed for ‘today, tomorrow etc” horizontal menu for QLD is WRONG
One would think this would be deemed a significant problem, alas not so for BOM.
Ignored for 2 updates now.
*Feedback form on app is either ‘offline’ or simply ignored, as are these reviews - nobody is checking the AppStore reviews anymore. Shock!

I used to be a proud BOM supporter but it seems you’ve lost focus on the main objective - accurate weather forecasting. Now you obsess over unnecessary details in an app. Let those who love the weather minutiae find it on your web pages. De-clutter the app and maybe it will help you refocus. Good Feng shui I hear.

Terrible
The more updates there are, the worse the accuracy seems to get. I understand that weather predictions can never be 100% certain, but the forecasts are noticeably less accurate than they used to be.
Please just leave this app alone. Thank you.

rain map only works 50% of the time need to reload app harder than old app to get around if it ain’t broke don’t fix it old app better what a waste of money!!
