Overall satisfied. Got the cash at home within 3 hours. But noticed few issues with the whole process :
Payment through credit card never works. Always throwing error. Upload documents show “discrepancy in upload” - no matter how many times you try with documents that are 100% correct. Tried calling the customer care 2 times and waited about 20 mins. But couldn’t connect with any agent. And message sent to them got no reply.
But irrespective I got the amount at home within 3 hours. The field agent called me directly and came home with amount

Bad Experience with BookMyForex for Small Transaction
After submitting my request along with all the required documents, there was no communication or update from the team. The app continued to show my documents as “pending.”
When I contacted customer service the first time, the executive assured me that they had received all documents and that the status would be updated shortly. However, after waiting 24 hours and calling again, a different executive asked for an additional document.
By then, I had already lost confidence in the process and decided to exchange the currency directly at Chennai Airport.
The experience was disappointing, especially for a simple and small transaction.

This fraudsters took money from me for a wire transfer and have not deposited it to the receiver in 2 weeks. It has been an absolute nightmare doing business with these people. Their wire transfer agents are never available on calls and the customer service team just gives false hopes of arranging a call back which never happens. I really regret choosing bookmyforex and would never recommend this stupid forex company to anyone. (I’m still waiting for my money to be sent.) Shame on this company, these are the kind of people because of whom India is seen as a fraudulent country abroad.

Worst Forex Service Experience – Zero Planning, Zero Infrastructure
BookMyForex is an absolutely pathetic service. They do not verify delivery addresses before taking orders, yet happily accept your money upfront. After payment, you’re told they can’t deliver even within 10–15 km in Mumbai (Dombivli Palava / Navi Mumbai areas). If you don’t have the basic infrastructure to serve Mumbai, why take the order in the first place?
What’s worse is that the money you pay seems to be passed on to some random local agents, who then call you and ask you to travel to THEIR convenient location to collect cash. You’re left with no option, no transparency, and no way to verify anything. This completely defeats the purpose of using an app.
Customer care is equally useless. If you ask for a refund, they casually tell you it will take 4–5 working days, meaning your funds are blocked for nearly a week because of THEIR incompetence.

• No delivery capability
• No accountability
• Poor customer support
• Money blocked unnecessarily
This is a useless app with no real infrastructure, just a middleman collecting money and dumping problems on customers. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting time, money, and mental peace.
