Meh.. nice for the vibrancy
The app constantly glitches or fails to show my full shelves, sometimes for days at a time until it randomly works again. It is a nice colorful app but beyond that, very poor software and not functional for exports or tracking.
Please help
I love this app only lately when I put in a name of a book it shows it’s there but doesn’t show up at all but the number of books added in currently reads is there but there is no show of the book or the cover.
I want to like it
But it’s missing what feels like really basic features. You can’t really build out your backlog, any books you mark as complete will be marked as read in your current calendar year with seemingly no way of changing it. So just updating books you’ve read in the past will completely throw off any reading challenges you set for yourself in-app

Wanted to give more stars
Love the idea - as someone who knows they should read more, I sought out an app to motivate me to read more and landed on this. Whilst it is a little clunky - loved it at first. Unfortunately, books don’t always appear on the shelves when you add them or don’t show, even if the ‘number of books’ reflect the existence of the book on the shelf, it’s just not visible. Good effort but needs more work to iron out glitches. I want to add this app to my youth group (200 children) but don’t feel I can due to glitch

Bookworm Limited
Although I applaud the social aspect of sharing books, this app is not going to suit my needs. 1. It did not find the last book I read. Granted it was a young adult book, but I enjoy them as a former school librarian and belong to a book club at the public library that reads them. 2. I need something that tracks my reading in more detail for my Read Challenge for the American Cancer Society for the month of August.

The BEST book app out there
Obsessed with this app. I’ve gotten so many book recs and have been inspired to read so many books from others’ reviews! Super cute and engaging. Honestly this app helped me get back into reading and I’m so grateful. I’ve read 49 books so far this year and I think that’s largely due to Bookworm!
Has promise
I want to love this app. But so many books are missing and it’s annoying. Even if you submit it, it doesn’t get loaded.
It looks nice, but you have to pay for stats
It looks like a cute little app, but I only used it for about two minutes because you have to pay a subscription fee just to see your stats. That’s ridiculous
Not so ethical to paywall content written by users
So this app claims it’s better than GoodRead, yet the first thing I see is that it set up paywall for you to see book review content written by its users.
How is that “better” than goodread? I don’t think self claiming “indie” justifies this👎🏻

I love the idea
I want to love this app. But there are a lot of books not listed and I end up having cover massing on books I’ve read. Please fix this and add the book and replace it in our read folder. Not worth paying for when it’s not updated.

Cannot Permanently Delete Profile, Even After Reaching Out To Support
I attempted, three times, to delete my profile to no avail. I reached out to the Bookworm Reads support team, and got no response.

please make it 12 at least. im not 17, and I had this app for a while and it was totally fine. I know some people may say some things about books and describe what is in them. But this was a really good app for me to track my reading and read reviews. It was just more fun than goodreads. But now that it is 17 , i can't open the app. Please consider making it 12
