Great but disappointed
I was having a good time when I first got on here. Then, something changed. There was an issue with another person on this app because he assumed that I was someone that I was not. After that, for two months, I could not talk to anyone new. Not a single person responded to any of my messages. It looked like none of my messages were even being seen as if I was invisible. I asked the creators for help and didn’t get an answer before leaving.
A year later, I have re-downloaded the app and have the same issue. I am receiving no messages. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I sent a couple of messages to the creators days ago and still have no response.
My friend thinks I was reported and shadow banned. Since I have no notification of this or confirmation from the creators, I am unsure if that’s what happened or if this is just some sort of glitch. Before all of this happened, I spoke to one of the creators a couple times and he even added some of my ideas to the app (voice messages and stealth mode). If I was shadow banned, I’m not sure if they’re not responding purposefully or if that is a side effect of being shadow banned that may or may not have been taken into account. Overall, I did enjoy using the app, but I am disappointed in the fact I received no response about what happened so I that could have continued using the app, if possible.

I love this app but I do have some problems with it
I have been enjoy this app for a long while now I think it is nice to get to talk with strangers. Some people are really nice, some just weird. I have a problem with my account. I think people don’t see my account or see my messages at all because no one is replying to me. I tried to search my username from a friends phone and my username never comes up. Tried to contact on contact us. No one get to me either so if someone can help would be really nice.

I had to get a new phone because my original broke then I couldn’t get the account back. Reached out to the creator and they never got back to me so I just deleted the app
Loving the APP
It really helps with social isolation and people are respectful on there. At least the ones I’ve met.

I’ve been on this app since 2020 and I’d still come back anytime. This is the safest app I’ve found to chat with people. Less creepy people and you could see other people chats. A bonus just in case they are giving a creepy vibe.

Overall this app is solid for what it’s about, but one problem.
Overall I seriously love this app down, it’s a great place to just have a conversation with whoever you want whenever you want. But Thats when the problem is either when you’re texting people they don’t text back or when they do it’s hours or days ago that you’ve almost forgotten them, or the one I hate the most the dry texts I don’t know how many people ive come across who just say stuff like this —> “I’m doing good” and they’d say nothing more or less and would hardly ever respond back fast. I have used this app years ago in the past to look for friends, don’t get me wrong everyone on this app is so sweet and kind when you do get to know them, but even sometimes people who you talk with for a while just disappear. Perhaps it’s what the name of the app entails “bored chat” which means only chat when you’re bored. And I guess that’s what everyone does or they never chat again. Though I do love this app very much so I met cool people on here and sweet people, I don’t think it’s worth it if you’re truly looking to keep a friendship going. you have to find the right person.

I think one thing that would be great to add is a group chat function.
I’ve met a few ppl on here now and we all got to know each other but we all have to speak individually so it’s a bit tricky.
Other than that it’s fun… I’d definitely recommend, you just need to be able to start a convo!

Not working for me for some reason.
My roommate uses this app and we’ve been sick so he suggested it to me. I’m not sure if it’s because we’re on the same WiFi but it won’t let me send messages. I know I know you’re thinking maybe no one wants to talk to me. I thought about that too but the reason I know is because I tried to send my roommate a message or like 10 and He can’t even find my profile. I’ve sent a lot of hellos out there no reply he can’t find my profile no matter what I change my name to. I can find his. I’ve sent a ton of messages. Deleted my profile and tried to make a new one three times. I even pay for the premium service to see if that helped and nothing helps. I can’t use support since it’s through FB and I don’t have a FB. My roommate loves this app and has nothing but good things to say about it. Would love some help getting my profile to work.

Possible temporary fix to [deleted] (won’t go back to old account tho)
When you open the app look at the top left and click the “contact us” then send a message and ur app might crash (mine did) then reopen and you’ll be able to make a new account

Pretty Toxic
I didn’t have the greatest experience on this app. Most people seem very disinterested. Not sure if I’m the issue or not but either I was ghosted very frequently. That if anyone would reply to my messages at all which most people didn’t. If you’re desperate for a good conversation with someone online this app isn’t it. People take way too long to respond and just leave messages with next to no effort put into them. I’m sure If you get lucky you might find someone who’s an actual interesting and thoughtful person but I don’t have that kind of patiences. The only thing I can praise this app for how well they filter out creeps. Good on the mods and devs for that 👍👍
