This app, and OBD II scanner works great. One just needs to understand how it works. I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 because you have to pay for an upgraded version to read some ABS, BCM codes.
Needs to be updated
Isn’t capable with IOS 16. Stopped working after the update. It has always had issues with each update. It’s garbage now.
No connecting. Most horrible software in the world
Doesn't connect with the app. Takes 10-30 minutes to get it to connect via bluetooth. Tried on 3 cars, Subaru, Toyota. Most horrible app to ever exist. Never works. Takes hours to possibly work. Bosch should be sued for such crap

Both the scanner which cost $70 and the app are worthless. Never worked out of the box. App says has to update device and then app just spins and spins and never updates despite connecting to device. Not phone issue as did same with new Samsung and an iPhone 12. Feel like I was robbed.

Good thing I only borrowed it. Will not connect to 2015 VW. It only connects to my phones Bluetooth but won’t go any further.
Junk, don’t buy or return to store!
Got to tell you: this thing is junk! If you bought the Bosch OBDI dongle then you should return it. I spent over $50 for this device. It worked for about 3 months and then it said an update must be installed on the dongle. I installed it and it bricked. The device would not connect by Bluetooth to my iPhone and the app rendering the app and the device useless! Waste of money! So upset about this! I work hard for a living and I have to put up with this kind of stuff.

Worked fine when purchased then they removed advertised functionality after the fact since it shuts down if the vehicle is in motion. Scummy company

To properly diagnose drivability issues we need that live data graph while the vehicle is being driven. This is a waste of $100.
Everyone, do yourself a favor and buy the Walmart bluedriver obd wireless scanner. It actually does what you need it to do.

App Based OBD Readers are a Rip Off
Used the blue tooth code reader and it was great until the app used to control it was out dated by iPhone tech updates.
Now it’s a $100 piece of junk and to think I could have just bought an ordinary code reader for the same price and it would still be working today.

Very useful
I have been using the app for sometime, 3 or 4 years. Bottom line is that I have saved time and money with this app. It gives deep information like transmission temperature in order to know when to add fluid at the correct level on modern cars that do nit have a level dip stick. I like the app. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the plug in Sensor was more expensive than other sensors. But I guess I paid for the name brand.

Bosch mobile scan
Purchased this module. Down loaded it immediately asked to update. Seems to stream live data ok while parked. As soon as you start to move it disconnects. Complete waste of money. Do not waste your money.
Useless paper weight
It tells me I need to update the firmware. I tell it to update and it gives me the status bar acting like it’s going to update. The app automatically crashes. I open up the app again, it shows the status bar and crashes. I force close the app, open the app and attempt to read the car again. Then you can guess what happens, the cycle starts over again.
This item was ok before they took away the ability to watch the car while moving, now though this item is literally useless and I’m forced to buy a different reader.
You can bet it will not be a bosche.
