Good app

Good app, small onetime purchase worth it for sure. Would be nice if devs added a way to save different presets for combos. For example, if I wanted to do kickboxing I could curate a combo list with kick boxing combos, aswell as a different list I could easily swap to when I don’t want to kick. I would also like to be able to make my own combos.

Good and easy

This app has a round timer and calls out punches to throw. You can pay $6 to unlock it. No monthly fees for trainers that I don’t want or need. A couple shortcomings for -1 star: you can create multiple workouts of different rounds / lengths, but you can’t pick different punches to be called out for each workout. Be nice to have one workout that was all jab / cross, another with jab / cross and hooks for example. Also you pick punch call outs from a list which is tedious. Be much better if you could just add punches and combos by tapping 1,2,3 for jab, cross, left hook for example. But this app is simple, easy to use and effective.

Gets The Job Done

Works fine. 2 major issues I experience. If you leave the app the callouts are disabled upon returning (regardless of any background settings selected). The other issue is that the app timer appears to be off by a bit. A workout will say it’s “15 minutes” but be longer. I start the workout on the app and on my Apple Watch and the workout is always longer than the time indicated. It’s not a huge deal but I have to guess how long a workout will be when adjusting the settings.

Excellent App!

I’ve been using this app 4-5 times a week for years, averaging around 40,000 punches a year. I can say the app works well and is reliable, and even gets the occasional update, such as a new “High Volume” setting, a male voice, and the addition of new combos/kicks. My ONLY REQUEST is the option to add in a warning sound to signal a round is ending soon. You’ll often hear the sound of sticks striking together 10 seconds before a round’s end in a real bout, and that would be perfect to allow me to switch to a punch-out flurry without having to look over and see how much time remains. Better yet, the ability to set when the warning sound triggers (such as 20 seconds before the end of a 3:00 round) would make an excellent app perfect.

Side note, I like that it shows you how many days punching you’ve accumulated. There may be an upper limit to the counter because in 2023 I lost several days, but I think I’m over a week now in punches thrown. Crazy!!

Ideal

I have worked with FightCamp, Punchlab and Corner but always wanted something less boxercise and more a simple bespoke boxing workout. This is a perfect app for this because I get to choose almost all aspects of my workout. Would like to be able to create a workout and chose which combinations for it. Could you also add body shots to combos? My only whinges.

Mit dem letzten Update wurden die bemängelten Fehler korrigiert. Klasse! Volle Empfehlung.

Allenamento

App ben fatta , però bisognerebbe aggiungere la scelta delle combinazione durante l’allenamento.

Great Bixing App! But some technical issues

I’ve really enjoyed using this app. It’s has made creating my own personal boxing workout easy. I look forward to using it every morning. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to force quit right in the middle of the first round. If they can fix the glitch, I’d give it 5 stars.

Good workout

So far, this is the best I've found. However, it would be ideal if I could customize each workout with a unique mix of combinations.

That would truly enhance the personalization aspect and would make the custom workouts more useful.

Doesn't even work.

Can't see or hear the combo callouts in the app. Why does it have to be so difficult to access and use what the app Claims it does? Pretty much all these boxing apps are terrible, and very user unfriendly.

Boxing

The best boxing app ever it tells you how to box
And keeps track what time is it and how many rounds you are you doing

Favorite Fitness App

As of this writing, I have logged 374 workouts/3629 rounds/7 days and 14 hrs. I use this app 5 days a week and have a fun, reliable workout that I look forward to every day.

Being able to choose the frequency of combinations is great to dial in specific areas I want to focus on improving.

Also, at the end of each workout the app displays a punch count. Knowing I threw 1600 punches before most people get out of bed is a real boost at the start of every day. Only request is an option to download workouts/punch counts into a .csv or .xls to be able to more easily analyze workout data, but as is the app is terrific.

Great boxing workout app

Great way to track your 12 rounds of heavy bag boxing

Used to be good

I’m not happy with this app any longer because they suddenly without warning require a log-in and I have lost my custom workouts. That option now requires you to purchase the app. I used this less than a week ago but now I can’t do anything that I used to be able to do. It’s not the money necessarily but not even getting the option to keep my info or a notice that it was changing was crappy.

Simple but good

Would be better with kicks. Works to get some stress relief and wake up first thing.

Excellent but would like to see a few changes for progression

I love this app, it is an excellent workout and really helps me with my boxing. However, I would like to be able to access past workouts to check history on things like punch count and calories burn etc. Once the workout is done all it shows is that you did a work out and you can’t access it after that. Please make old workouts accessible and your app will be perfect!
