Caution. ONLY works with mic

Instructions describe how to get BPM readings for songs you play on your phone, but it either can’t or the instructions are so messed up I don’t understand. And I dropped the $$ for the lifetime Pro ticket based on reviews. I feel like I was suckered.

Response from developer

Hey ! Thanks for trying my app and leaving a review! You can get the BPM from song playing on your phone but it has to be playing out loud from the speaker so the mic can pick it up. Unfortunately, iOS doesn't allow an app to listen to another app's audio directly. I can't get around this rule 😞. The app's description states that the detection is made from the microphone. Don't hesitate to contact me at support@squatsoft.com if you need help requesting a refund! Best, Quentin

All good with this

Good follow up by the founder - at least you chat to a real person on email

I absolutely love this app. It is so practical, it helps me with identifying the tempo of a song and having the Shazam integration with the app is Chef’s kiss!! It’s simple and easy to use!!

Thanks for your review. I'm glad that my app is useful to you!

Ungenau

The best

This app does exactly what we need it to do and more. Not only is your bpm calculated extremely fast, you can also see the name of the song that you are detecting.

This apps is great for proving to the drummer that they’re playing at the right tempo….. or not.

Makes you select a range, for no reason

Why? Developer — why? It can be done without. LiveBPM used to do it

Perfekte App - Jeden Cent wert! 🎶

Absolute Empfehlung an jeden! 🩶

No Split View ??!!

Come onnn ????? Basic feature???? WTFF, ALSO…. not amazing at detecting bpm’s. Though the best I’ve seen as of late, annoyingly odd… there was a great free one called liveBPM… that worked GREAT, but was discontinued… lamely.
