About

Breathune is a calm breathing companion. Lead your breath with the unique Šikuta method — inhale into the belly, then the chest, and let the exhale flow — while the whole screen breathes with you: a flower unfolds its petals, glass mists over and clears, and the next phase quietly surfaces like song lyrics. Breathing programs: • Šikuta Method – a unique deepening wave, 4-2-6, with a final empty-lungs hold • Relaxation 4-7-8 – to unwind and fall asleep more easily • Focus – balanced 4-4-4-4 breathing • Coherent 5-5 – evens out the breath • Power Breath – an energizing series • Custom programs – create your own rhythm and send it to friends as a Breath Share (.brsh) — it opens right in Breathune from iMessage • Set your own final round – inhale and exhale hold lengths Six living themes: • Spring – the flower in fresh colors with a breeze of petals • Summer – a warm evening with swallows, butterflies and bees • Autumn – the flower in warm colors with falling leaves • Winter – ice crystals that build up over several breaths and slowly thaw • Dew Drops – the breath naturally fogs the glass and the dew sparkles in the morning light • Bloom – a flower of dozens of tiny petals opens with the inhale and folds into a glowing core on the exhale • …plus Rainbow Waves – an experimental color effect with a Zen finale, “Zeen 禅”, where the word dissolves into colorful dust Apple Watch: • The same programs, timing and themes as on iPhone • The inhale is led by taps that speed up and swell to a peak, then ease away — just like a real breath; the exhale stays silent • The display never drops to black during a session — the breathing visual stays until the end • Heart rate during the session and your average at the end (on iPhone too) • Combo mode – iPhone and Watch breathe truly in sync, including phase skips • Standalone runs with their own cycles, language and theme — sessions are saved to Health right from the watch • A glassy watch face complication – Breathune one tap away Track your progress: • Session history with day streaks, session count and total time • Completed sessions are saved to Apple Health as mindful minutes • A widget for your iPhone Lock Screen and Home Screen • Everything stays on your device – no account, no cloud Also: • A glassy design with subtle glints and a gentle 3D parallax as you tilt your phone (can be turned off) • Natural breath sound, a soft ocean or wind in the background • Every exercise ends with a muted bamboo knock and a water drop — “plop” • Calming guidance during breath holds (tingling, ringing ears or warmth are normal) • Press and hold the center to extend a breath hold • Or you might just want someone to be breathing next to you - calming sleep breathing (keep your iPhone on the charger) • Slovak and English • No ads, no account, works offline Breathune is for relaxation and mindful breathing; it is not a medical device or a substitute for professional care.

What's New in Breathune

2.5

July 30, 2026

• New Bloom theme — a flower of dozens of tiny petals opens with the inhale and folds into a glowing core on the exhale • Rainbow Waves — an experimental color effect; with Bloom it tints the petals into a gentle rainbow • The Zen finale “Zeen 禅” — with Rainbow Waves on, the session ends with a full-body stretch on the inhale and a word that dissolves into colorful dust • Breath Share — send your custom program to friends as a .brsh file; one tap in iMessage opens it right in Breathune • A glassy redesign — glass icons with glints and a gentle 3D parallax as you tilt your phone (can be turned off in Options) • New inhale haptics modeled on a real recording — taps speed up and swell to a peak, then ease away (iPhone and Apple Watch); Silent Mode now guides reliably • Apple Watch: the display never drops to black during a session, a new glassy complication, and phase skips stay in sync in Combo mode • History without duplicate entries; your average heart rate is filled in even when it arrives late • Many small refinements throughout
