HORRIBLE. NON FUNCTIONAL. HOW IS THIS 5 STARS
This app is completely useleless. None of the features work properly. Nothing loads. Youre far better off logging in on your browser on your phone. Genuinely shocked the reviews are 5 stars.
What’s the point?
The app works for the most part but majority of the tabs that are available on the desktop version are not here. More than this I don’t understand the point of having an app for brightspace if every other things that I want to open in the app just redirects me to the webpage. I might as well just have the webpage on my phone instead of the app.

Bright space pulse
I use this app to see notifications, and classes I have but I have to open safari to get to the actual content. If it’s okay could the developers code a web app inside the app instead of redirecting to safari? Otherwise it’s a great app, just redundant to install if they redirect you to the website.

Pulse is very useful
The amount of times I almost missed assignments is truly insane. Pulse truly helps you stay aware
Optimal View.
Needs to be set up for a phone view as well. Not just something to click on and be able to get to. Allow us to get things done via Phone.

Required to download this app, but it is very organized and works really well
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work, but the app does admit that logging into some institution can get stuck in browser mode and you have to contact that schools help desk.
I am however lazy, and will just be using a browser to complete my course.
Should work without me calling tech support.

it's a good app but please add the grades, it's difficult to have to switch to the website to see my grades
Won’t even let me “Get Started”
Downloaded the app got to the “get started page”. Doesn’t let me click. Tried it nothing happened.

Actually probably the worst education app ever.
Maybe it is my professors and I still not being used to this new app but Brightspace is leagues behind both Canvas and the new Blackboard. Discussions not showing up whatsoever is a complete dealbreaker. Hell I can’t even find them in all the confusing things this app has

Unorganized and can’t use discussions
The app is nothing close to the website and very unorganized. There is no place to do discussions without taking you off of the app. Very hard to do homework from an iPad. I don’t know how this is so highly rated with the big confusion and all the redirection off of the app.

Half of the actions open in a browser window. The other half don’t work. Canvas is infinitely better.
Good but annoying
This app is good for keeping track of your assignments and getting things turned in.
The only thing I complain about is when you finish an assignment it marks it on the app but then the day that it’s due it spams you with notifications saying that the certain assignment needs to be turned in, even though it says on the app that it’s complete.
I don’t want to turn off notifications because I need them but it needs to stop spamming with notifications! Fix please
