Always get a maintenance message on Login

Unfortunately, this app seems to be nonfunctional as it requires login with a Cochlear account, and that isn’t working. I’ve been trying regularly for sometime.

App is NOT working

Cannot get past the login screen

Can’t log in

I’m happy to update this. But I can’t even log into the app. I’d love to be able to use it.

Stopped working

Installed the app. Worked fine for a couple of weeks then went to message that it’s under maintenance and not available. I’ve tried reloading but that hasn’t worked. It’s been this way for 3 weeks now. Is the site really under maintenance?

Fixed - Audio path issue?

Andrew Selby again, audio path issues have spontaneously resolved. I thought insanely complex technology was supposed to work perfectly, all the time, for any user, on any device, with any combination of settings. 😂 Great app!

Bug in app

Might be good but a screen pops up telling you how to earn stars and will not close no matter how many times I click the X button. Can only make it go away by deleting the app and reloading. But then the screen comes back again.

Does not link with Spotify

I find this App quite useful, but it never links successfully with Spotify in Repertoire – I have definitely connected but it doesn’t record any listening. Is there some fix for this?

Same problem

Constantly asking to download more data tried 3 times on iPhone 7.
Still can’t use app.

Bring Back the Beat

What a wonderful idea, but after down loading I am unable to open the application on my iPad. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill Hyde

Still can’t get app to work

Still can’t activate “tell us what you think” dialog pop up window. I uninstalled it from my iPhone and reinstalled but that stupid dialog box is still there, frozen. I cannot do anything with it! Can’t activate any stars, can’t move the “likely” down-arrow left or right. Hope you can fix it so I can get back into the program...

Exploring music!

Thank you Cochlear! I love being able to repeat sounds from different musical instruments. I feel like a kid exploring different sounds of music.

Reptoire (sic)

I like the app as it is helping with individual notes. I would like more games that will help pick out songs to build up recognition. I am disappointed in reptoire. It is not recording the data and or the amount of time I am spending listening to the music. Is this a software issue or did I fail to hit a certain button when I hook my Spotify account. Does my account need to be upgraded to premium (either app?).

Doesn’t work

It doesn’t work on my iPhone 6. It says it needs to download content, but it doesn’t do so. I’ve tried repeatedly. Very disappointing.

Confusing

Like the last user I was confused as to what to do. Maybe this app isn’t for me. I’ve been hearing music fine since I received My cochlear implant in 1988. I’ll be removing this from my phone and keeping my Pandora and YouTube to listen to much better music.

Purpose?

Not really even sure what this is supposed to do? Maybe it’s me, I play piano and listen to music constantly, when I went bilateral with CIs it was really hard at first but over time, it did get better. I’m pretty content with how I hear music now except for when trying to learn a new song on piano, picking the music out is much more difficult now....I don’t read sheet music. I really miss bass in music which I could hear when I had bilateral HAs. As I got older the HAs couldn’t keep up with my natural hearing decline. The app works fine on my phone, I just don’t understand how to use it after I press the play button....then what?

Thank you, we are constantly working to help make the app experience more intuitive for our users, so we value your feedback. Bring Back the Beat is designed to help users reconnect with the joy of music through specially designed skills based games. To help you get started, the app has lots of handy tips on how to play each game. If you missed the how-to videos and prompts when you first logged in, you can watch these again by clicking on Help in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. You can also click on the letter “i” icon at the top of the screen of each game, which explains what each game is all about. Within the app you can also click on Menu and select the Feedback option to send us your questions and feedback. - Cochlear Support

In theory amazing... if we could get past login

My father is trying to relearn how to hear music without pain since his cochleae implants. Unfortunately, we are unable to get logged in, it gets stuck on the screen claiming it is logging in. Have tried restarting phone, uninstall and reinstall, and different WiFi. :( is there anything that can be done to actually use the app?
