What's New in MindEar | Tinnitus Relief

Smoother subscriptions, fewer crashes, and less “wait, that’s not what I tapped.” Mostly bug fixes — the boring kind that make the app feel less broken. Thanks for updating!

Decent when it works

The sounds help a lot. The problem is the app will constantly log you out for no reason and then lock you out.

Tinnebot locks up

Unfortunately, the Tinnebot part of this app has been locking up on a regular basis. It happens in the middle of a session and then the only thing to do is start over. I’ve been using the app a week after paying for it and the lock ups have happened four or five times. To maintain progress you have to complete a session so I’ve had to go back and do each of these Tinnebot sessions a couple of times to get through.

While I like the app overall, I wish there was less reliance on Tinnebot. Besides the lock ups the other issue is that Tinnebot asks open ended questions but doesn’t really use what you say in a way that modern AI would be expected to. You can type gibberish and it will still plow ahead. The concept of an AI assistant is very promising, but the current Tinnebot implementation is too old school scripted and mechanical.
