An experience not to be missed
No matter your age or interest, The British Museum is a “must-see” experience that will resonate long after you leave its hallowed halls and soaring sky-lit center square. The beauty and grace of the modern rotunda amidst the traditional, classical features of the interior spaces sets a tone of reverence and respect for the objects and antiquities one will encounter.
The top highlights are all gorgeous and powerful. The frieze sculptures from the Parthenon reveal a myriad of physical human shape, form, and mass, and the details found in each piece are fascinating bits that dive me deep into the time and place from which they came. This gallery and the adjoining rooms kept me entranced for over an hour- I would have been happy to stay longer -
We moved on to the Egyptian treasures, similarly stunning, and ventured throughout the museum for approximately 4 hours total, including delightful lunch break. That felt like the perfect amount of time to be there - viewing many of the most popular sculptures and items, and veering off to the clock and money collections. We left delightfully full and satisfied, but not overwhelmed. I would have enjoyed going to this museum again a few days later, had my holiday been longer. As it is, I’m grateful for the app, website, and my photos, so I can continue exploring the vast wealth of beauty and knowledge within this profound museum.

Not so much information about particilar room. Most eye-catching thing on every page is red button TOUR that links you to purchase some tickets. I have expected more elaborated and helpful application than this. Paper map in the museum is more helpful that this app. Installed, used, de-install. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED

You have no idea what a specific room contains.
-> The map feature will not track you while you're inside the museum, despite allowing locations access.
-> You cannot tap on a room on the map and be directed to information on that room.

One star is too many.
Every button is to an extra payment. I got the museum guide thinking that it would be informative and include an audio guide as suggested in the features. Not so. It’s a basic map of the museum which is posted around and can be googled for free. This is not worth the time to search for it. Very disappointing. I’ve requested a refund for the useless added content.

You have to pay (despite not saying that on the description) for everything useful. It’s an app for advertisement and nothing else. For less money you can buy the museum guide which is useful.
Complete guide and with audio
This British Museum guide is very complete. You can see all the collections through the app. Instead of buying the book at the local souvenir store you should get this guide if you love the British Museum.

Absolute crap do not download
This thing is junk and should be removed. I downloaded thinking I would be cool using my phone and not the large paper map like everyone one else in this building. Little did I know that I would be more frustrated than a fapper in a glass house on the seashore. Pay the money or do not download. Even the paid for version is junk. (Guy next to me downloaded paid version, such a dum-dum)

The reason behind this is for travelers to be able to enjoy everything in an offline mode without paying for roaming charges while they travel. Even being able to use geolocalization capabilities such as GPS or Augmented Reality without being connected to your cell phone provider. I was expecting a guide to the BM exhibits. All I’ve found is some maps and a list of very expensive guided tours.

If you are looking for free self guided tours this app is not for you. Anything you want to access you have to pay for, so you may as well get an audio guide when you get to the museum.
