Great App!
It’s great to be able to see that my children are enjoying themselves and not stressing. I also love how easy it is to print out the photos from the hearted library. Its accesible to use for all ages and even my parents can enjoy looking at photos of their grandchildren!
Nice Niche App, Limited Features
This app fills a unique niche and does its core job. That said, it also feels like a product that has focused more on serving a specific audience than on building out the overall app experience.
Many of the quality-of-life features you’d expect from a mature app are missing. For example, you can’t save email drafts, filter messages by person, or take advantage of other basic productivity features that have become standard elsewhere.

Love hearing from my camper 💜
At first glance, the app is a bit glitchy and not the most user-friendly, HOWEVER the customer service is outstanding! They will help you in any way they can, and are so calm and polite. Very professional. The kids are tech-free, and land-line calls are quite scarce, so I love being able to “mail” letters to my camper and get hand-written “bunk replies”. I really enjoy getting all the photos from camp with tagged pics especially of my child; I can also send a picture from home — even with the basic package! I’m normally a very frugal person, so believe me when I say that it’s worth every penny. :) Enjoy!

Lots of challenges this year!
So many challenges with this app! Had to delete and upload multiple times, change my password multiple times. Won’t let me log in. Nothing but issues. And, the costs went up from last year! I don’t think anyone is monitoring the usability and certainly not managing the bugs!
VERY hard to use- dysfunctional
I’ve struggled with this app for years, and it never improves. Very difficult to use, the website isn’t better. Since this is not cheap to send notes to our kids at camp, I would expect it to be more user friendly.

Constant glitching, always says something went wrong, can’t connect to payment… totally useless and frustrating!
Misleading Pricing - Poor Support
Beware you understand TOTAL pricing before purchasing email functionality. I felt totally misled what full cost to send emails would be. And when I requested a refund they were very ambiguous about the process and would not provide me a date when it would be issued.

Losing messages!
I can’t tell you how frustrating it is that this app doesn’t do a drafts folder. I wrote a whole note to my kiddo, went to attach a photo, selected only limited access to photos, the app crashed and I lost everything. Another time, I was writing a note and got a phone call I had to answer went back to the app, it refreshed and I lost another message. It’s 2026. Why don’t we have drafts and autosave??

Excellent way to have fun, regular contact at Camp
Four stars for the seamless app for the peace of mind that my Bunk notes arrive to my kids each day. Much easier and more reliable than the post office – – and I love the colored borders and photo upload. Minus a star that they seem to raise prices every year and not have bulk sales for more than one camper in session. I also wish there was a way to better show the layout. I have to keep guessing how much space I have on my note when I have a border and a photo. The vertical photo takes up more space than the horizontal photo. The red -line count showing you’ve run out of X # of lines when the message gets too long, does not work when you post a vertical photo and suddenly you have to guess how many lines of your message to remove. I wish the line count or the letter preview was more dynamic.

Horrible app
If I could give it 0 stars I would. The app was fine but the cabin names weren’t what was reported to friends/family of campers. I had been in contact through email with customer support and after asking for a refund they ghosted me. I was able to get ahold of someone on the phone and they said they would put in a request for the refund but wasn’t sure if it would be approved. I was never able to send a message to the campers in my family. I would avoid this app at all costs.

Easy way to get photos
Love this app. Been using it since the scout camp has been using it. Makes it easy to get the photos from her at camp.
Space Camp
Second year in a row my child has been to space camp and second year in a row something has been wrong with linking my son with the correct expedition/week. It is incredibly frustrating. I wish they would use a different platform.

Great to use from an admin perspective! Easy to upload photos and keep important updates and resources constantly available to parents.

This app is amazing since my parents write me letters at camp and I get to see what they wrote me.
Camp fun
I love being able to see my kids having a great time while they are away. Also being able to send a message to them while they are away and remark on the things you are seeing through the pictures. It’s like being a fly in the wall but also not disturbing their fun. Thanks for creating such a neat app.

Garbage
9 times out of 10 I can’t view any of the albums that the camp has posted despite getting a notification that should open the album. The gallery doesn’t work most of the time. You have to buy credits to send a message to your camper and the minimum you can buy is ten credits. Not just a rip off but is ethically not cool. Kids should have equitable access to communication from loved ones

Pretty useful App
Love this so much a lot. I was able to see pics of my daughter through the facial recognition technology and send mail to her and now receive mail from her as well. It's a user friendly app and with the update it's easier to find what I'm looking for in one area.
Very thankful for the tools to help parents and loved ones see what's going on with their family members each day without having to be there. Awesome!!
