About
Burek and his friends help little ones learn Spanish by listening, tapping and playing. No reading needed.
Raising a bilingual kid? Spanish is everywhere in the US, from the playground to the grocery store. Michi the kitten makes those first Spanish words a game your child will ask for.
Made by a dad for his five-year-old at language Saturday school, Burek teaches six languages, each with its own friend: Michi (Spanish), Teddy (English), Filou (French), Fuchsi (German), Leo (Italian) and Burek the puppy (Polish).
GAMES THAT TEACH BY LISTENING
• Feed the puppy: give him the food he asks for.
• Pet care: he's hungry, bored or sleepy. Tap what he needs.
• Magic words: hello, please, thank you and sorry, in real little situations.
• Where is it?: find the picture your friend names.
• Parrot: repeat a word, and the parrot plays it back in a funny voice and checks it.
• Letters: hear every letter of the alphabet.
• Places: tap anything in the supermarket to hear its word.
IT ADAPTS TO YOUR CHILD
Games get a little harder when your child does well and quietly easier when they struggle. When they're really stuck, a short hint plays in their own language, then the new word again.
REASONS TO COME BACK
Stickers that say their words, a gentle paw-print streak with rest days, new words every day they play, and a treasure chest of bonus games: bubbles, memory and dress-up.
KEEP YOUR FAMILY'S LANGUAGE ALIVE
