Too much spam
It would seem the phone numbers are recycled. After establishing a number and paying I’m getting nothing but spam calls non stop.
Annoying pop up appearing
Annoying pop up appearing everytime when opening the app slowing down everything asking for a subscription
Huge mistake
I don't write bad reviews but I hope ppl read this to spare them from the BS I'm dealing with right now. I made a HUGE mistake choosing this app I wish I'd done more research before choosing this as my second number.
1. Premium cost bare minimum features compared to other apps
2. Zero organization or message/contact searching capabilities.
3. The more you use it the the slower it begins to perform
4. Messages saying they've been sent but not being received by recipient
5. Not receiving messages
6. Zero customer service on multiple attempts to resolve issues
7. You can't export contacts that you saved or messages to try and clear out your inbox to a make the app perform better
8. When you've finally had enough and want to leave the app you lose all record of messages and contacts that you've saved.
I didn't think of or realize this until it was too late and now I'm having to manually move each contact one by one over to my phone. And will lose all record of past messages.
Quo is a great alternative and textfree.

Buggy and paid for nothing
App gave an error after I paid and didn’t give me my number I paid for. Cancelled immediately but no way to refund. App just ate $10 for nothing. Absolute trash scam.
Took money after I unsubscribed
I downloaded it for my free trial for 3 days on 22nd of July use it for maybe an hour deleted it and unsubscribed and just got charged for it on 29th. BE AWARE they will still take your money after the trail even if you unsubscribe.
Question
If someone deep dives into looking for this number and who owns it, will my name pop up since I’m using it on this phone? But just using the app number ?
This is a Scam
I purchase a second line, and paid for the full year. I used my Apple account thinking that I would be protected. Big, Huge mistake. I signed in using my Apple account, chose the area code and the number, paid for it and Never got anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, try to contact the joke that they call support and could not get a refund . I had to report fraud to my bank, got my card cancelled in order to be able to get my money back. The “support” tries to say they cannot reverse the transaction and apple also cannot reverse the transaction. All they want is to cancel the subscription which will renew the following year. If you don’t have what you paid for to begin with, I don’t want to cancel the subscription! I want a Refund!

Annoying!
Constantly interrupting your usage by placing advertisements to their other services right on the middle of using the app and many times requiring you to reload the app resulting in names to phone numbers to disappear.
Scammers and Fraud
Don’t buy anything from this app. Don’t even download it. They bait you with a free trial and then as you purchase- you end up paying full price right away. Then it will say error and won’t even let you access the subscription you just got. They stole my money and did not provide the service. I’m seeking a refund from these snakes

Scam!!! They double charge me every month
They have double charged me every month for over a year. On iphone i initially accidentally added another line by trying to pay my bill. I’ve since contacted them a lot of different times, and they always evade, then say there’s nothing they can do about it. I cancel the extra line over and over and it’s still there and still charges me double every month. I imagine they make a pretty good profit on all the double, triple etc accounts people must have, because it creates a new account anytime you try to pay your bill on there. The actual text service is also very slow, clunky, ugly. The phone service is not great. I do like asking an extra line for 2fa s but I’ve given them a long time to get their things together, and so far they have proven they don’t care.

Keeps billing after cancellation
The app “works,” but after we burned the two numbers we had, we kept being billed for months more. Impossible to resolve because Apple simply blames the developer - and the developer says they cannot issue refunds, only Apple can.
Online searches show this “feature” extends to other users. Be careful!
EDIT: I see the developer responded with “solutions” that not only do not work, they are also also illegal in parts of the US (e.g. California) since the company offers no way to cancel within the app.

No customer support!!!
The app stopped letting me answer calls. I can see a call coming in but can’t answer. I tried their AI support and it’s useless. I sent emails and never received an answer. More of a scam than a useful app. Stay away!!!!

Beware of Scam!
They still charge you even after you’ve canceled the free trial! Apple currently denied my refund so I’ll be seeking legal action if my money isn’t returned and I have proof.
