Terrible Version
This update of BuzzFeed is terrible I don’t like it take it back to the old version to many colors and the setup is dumb especially for my quizzes.
Dumb decision to remove in-app notification centre
Getting Rid of the in-app Notif...
Removing the notification menu that was in the app, the little notification bell that you could click to see who interacted with your comments was the most ridiculous and unnecessary decision. I don't even want to comment and interact now because I can't see the replies or likes unless I dig through the
"all comments" section on my profile. This was such a stupid thing to take away, because interacting was my favourite part and now that I can't even really do that fully I don't even see myself using the app anymore so great work buzzfeed

been going downhill for years
most quizzes don’t load. app consistently crashes. nowhere on the app to ask for assistance, and if i use internet browser instead of app, it causes my computer to glitch. do better
login issue
since the new update, i was logged out, and now it wont let me log back in using my Facebook account. every time i click on that option, it just takes me to the Facebook app, but doesnt log me in on the Buzzfeed app. pleaseeee fix this! it works fine on the website, just not the app.
Enjoyable until it’s political
I have used BuzzFeed for years. I love the articles, the quizzes, the shopping recommendations (alot of my amazon purchases come from the shopping articles), etc. It has gotten to a point now though, where every article or story has some political commentary (sometimes it’s not even needed). I get there is a lot going on politically and there is a lot to discuss, but we don’t need to keep giving spotlight on Trump, please. If it’s an article about politics, that’s fine, but I don’t need a political reference when I am looking at recommendations for shoes.
