About

Buzzkill helps you make selected apps feel less stimulating without blocking them or setting time limits. Choose the apps that pull you in, then Buzzkill walks you through installing two bundled Apple Shortcuts and creating matching open and close Personal Automations. When a selected app opens, the shortcut can turn your iPhone’s Color Filter to grayscale; when you leave it, a second shortcut can restore color. Everything stays on your iPhone. Buzzkill has no account, ads, analytics, app-usage tracking, or background uploads. It does not read your screen or content. You stay in control: the apps remain available, and Apple Shortcuts runs the local automations. Buzzkill is a setup companion that explains each step, checks the shortcut behavior, and helps you repair the grayscale setting if needed.
