Easy to use but AI and App interactions needs to be better

Overall easy to use app. After using this for over 2 months, its AI is most likely using a cheaper model. It's estimates even after detailed description (grams provided, etc) isn't accurate at the number it produces. The worst part was it constantly getting food label scans wrong, that was so annoying. Even after inputing manually, then you try to modify the portions, it resets everything.... please fix asap.

Also, why does it not calculate the calories accordingly when you input the carbs, protein and fats?? And i have to do the math myself.

Forces you to start a trial

It forces you to start a trial for 3 days otherwise wouldn’t let you use the app

Calories counting

So far so good just starting

Cool but one big issue

I’d say good app mostly, but a few things need reworking. The whole macros estimate system is a huge mess. I try to ignore it, but it saying one needs to consume 300 grams of protein when you do your steps + a workout, is just wrong. And setting daily macros doesn’t work when 3 thousand steps changes it all. Whilst I just know to ignore it, other users may follow it wholeheartedly and miss out of gains by eating redundant protein

Disappointing

Bought the subscription through their promotion that offered the lifetime subscription as a one off offer. Turned out to be a lie, they kept charging for the subscription.

Problem with my subscription

I purchased an annual subscription to the app, but it was unexpectedly canceled just three days later. After almost 10 back-and-forth emails with customer support, the problem still has not been resolved.

Not the nest right now

App has been tweaking out. Keeps getting basic food thats separated incorrect and have to manually put everything in. Was not that bad before . Even told me 47,000
Calories the other day for some random food. Please fix and resolve this . Paying for it is not worth it if i have to keep manually fixing /inputing everything in

Good app

First day I like it

FIX HEALTH SCORE

Wonderful app, tracking works great, it adjusts your daily calories by syncing data with health app which is genius, but I only have one complaint. The Health Score doesn’t always accurately depict what is actually going on in the tracker. For example it told me my score was a 7/10 because I needed more calories and protein, but in reality I was over for both of those, so it should have been telling me carbs were my issue.

It’s ok

Food choices are way more limited than I expected. Typing in a food, especially if more than one word, gives options that are not even close to what I typed. Choices for foods bought at restaurants or take out just aren’t there. I wish the food database was a lot larger and varied. Would also be great if the fat was more specific to include saturated amounts. Would be much better when you want to reduce your saturated fat intake.

Waste of time

Spent 20 minutes doing the questionnaire and realized it was 30 bucks to track calories

I like it but

I like the foundation of this app but it’s not worth a subscription imo it would be if the AI could get the calories accurate but I’ve had to go over least 7 meals I had yesterday n today and correct the calories for them…

Another thing to you can only food and how much water you’ve had not any other drinks n that also adds calories into your diet

I might buy the subscription if it was a lot cheaper but 29.99 for a whole year for something that’s inaccurate? No thank you. Can add my calories up myself and accurately!

Terrible

Terrible app with so many bugs

Not free

N

Paid only

People, it’s just an app that tracks a single integer. Do not pay money for this.

App has major bugs

App keeps logging me out after opening it. Calories and macros arent close to all.

Cheap AI

First thing I tried was taking a picture of a Iced Venti Starbucks Sugar Free Protein Latte. I took a picture including the label on the drink. Got calories off (said 180 instead of 280). Protein was way off (said 12 but is actually 40g according to Starbucks website). Went to Claude with the same picture and it got it right. They are using a cheap AI model that is not giving accurate results, especially when the drink nutrition is already online.

kept charging me well after i cancelled my subscription

i cancelled my subscription and deleted the app simply because i didn’t need to track my cals anymore, but for months after i’ve been getting monthly charges. i cancelled my subscription in three different places and had to get a new card because the charges didn’t stop

Hidden charges and emails after account deleted

I downloaded this app since it’s the only one I could find that people under 18 can use I started the free trial and when the week was over they never told me it ended or asked me to confirm any payment I figured it was longer than a week 3 days later I opened my cash app and had multiple 30 dollar charges from cal ai I deleted my account and the charges kept coming I deleted my Cash App but I still get emails from cal ai even after I deleted my account
