Absolutely fantastic app!
The app feels a bit sluggish to operate though for 2026, developers can definitely look into it if possible.
Great guys and programs
Sehr gut aber Raum für Verbesserung

Must improve user experience

Hey, this was a bug that should be fixed by now. If you still experience any problems, please contact our support team and we’ll solve the issue as quickly as possible (support@calimove.com).
Great app one suggestion.
needs mobility fix
Response from developer
Hi there, the programs follows a fixed schedule to make sure your body adapts properly and to avoid overtraining or unnecessary fatigue. However, you still have full flexibility: Go to the Plan tab in the navigation bar → tap “My Programs” → select your program → use the “Reschedule” function. This allows you to move your next session to any day you want—even every day—so you can train exactly when and how often you prefer. Best regards, Cali Move Support Team
Schade
Response from developer
Hi there, the app is built to a very high standard and not like typical generic cookie-cutter solutions. A lot of thought went into creating a system that delivers structured, adaptive training rather than something generic. At the same time, we’re continuously working on updates and improvements to make the experience even better over time. If you can share what exactly feels outdated or not working well for you, we’d be happy to take that into account and improve it. Best regards, Cali Move Support Team
Review 4 - very dissatisfied
I am very close to cancelling my subscriptions.
I need the app to allow me to skip around at will for both the exercises and the training clips. I am wasting so much time waiting for training clips to restart and also with restarting while exercise sessions when I have to take time to practice or learn.
I am having a real problems with the range and progression. I need the app to not make me wait between weeks to figure out the right part in the exercise progression. I also need the app to be clear on range of motion. When I’m giving my exercise scoring/feedback sometimes I can do it easily at the beginning of the range of motion but no reps at the other end of the range of motion. So was the exercise easy for me or hard or somewhere in between? How do I track the range progress writhin different sections of the progression?
The app is not clear when exercises stay and stop. It’s the same beep and there are no verbal announcements- it should be totally clear whether I am in an active set, resting, or otherwise.
I need this to be a quick filler. I’m coming at this two times a week with only 1 hour to hit mobility and calisthenics and make progress. I need it to be easy to assess at the start what I am going to be doing (quickly trying out new exercises and identifying exactly where in the range I will be). I need the app to give me autonomy over my progression and not wait for it to poorly catch up. I need this app to work for me when I need it, not when it thinks I need to get after it or how it thinks I need to get after it.
Key takeaways:
- timer for exercise and agility in navigating content (pause, reverse, fast forward and skip around for all features)
- autonomy and alignment on progression/range/intensity integrated properly with the programming
- feedback should not be ambiguous relative to range of motion and progression

Hi, I’ll address your main points directly: 1. Training days You can reschedule every workout to any day you want. Go to "Plan" in the navigation bar and click “Adapt my program” in the top right corner. From there, you can move sessions individually and adjust the structure to fit your own schedule. 2. No rewind A rewind/seek function for the exercise videos is already planned and will be released in the coming weeks. 3. Too difficult exercises If an exercise feels too hard, please give negative feedback after the set. The app uses that input to adjust upcoming sessions and reduce the difficulty level accordingly. 4. Interrupted workouts You don’t have to redo the entire workout. You can use the pause button if you get interrupted. At the end of the workout, there is also a summary screen where you can manually adjust every set and rep before finalizing. If something still doesn’t behave the way described, please let me know — we want to make sure the app works for you, not against you.

Workout won’t load
Frustrating when the start button is spinning and you can’t start when you need to.
Response from developer
Hi, Sorry about the frustration, we understand how annoying it is when the start button keeps spinning and you can’t begin your workout when you’re ready to train. The good news is that a fix is already on the way. An upcoming app update includes improvements to how videos are encoded and delivered in the app. These adjustments improve playback compatibility and help ensure that exercise videos run smoothly, even on devices with lower performance. Once the update is released and installed, this issue should be resolved. Thanks for your patience while we improve the experience!

Great App & Support

Lacks basic functionality
Response from developer
Hey. First of all: a rewind/scrub function is coming with the next major app update. When it comes to new exercises, you don’t have to pause a workout to check the details. Before you start, you can open the workout overview, tap Exercises, and preview your entire workout in advance — including demo videos and detailed instructions. The app will only suggest handstands if they were unlocked by your answers in the initial questionnaire, or if easier progressions (e.g. pike handstand) were rated as too easy. If something feels too hard, you can give feedback after the set and the app will automatically adjust.

Will put 5 stars when fixed
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback — we really appreciate it. The reason this isn’t available right now is that rest times are set intentionally, and if you pause the workout to watch the exercise details, those rest times would no longer be accurate when you continue. That timing is an important part of how the workouts are structured. That said, we understand your point and why this could be useful. We’ll discuss this internally and take your suggestion into account as we continue improving the app. Thanks again for sharing your idea.
A slap in the face
Response from developer
To clarify: the programs you previously purchased are still fully accessible as one-time purchases with lifetime access—nothing has been removed or taken away. The Cali Move App is a completely separate product, built from scratch for mobile use, with features such as adaptive training, progress tracking, and in-app workouts. The older web-based programs were not designed to support these functions, which is why they are not compatible with the app. To acknowledge the support of existing customers, we also offered a significant loyalty discount on the app. A 1-star rating, however, does not reflect the actual quality or performance of the app if it is based solely on the inability to use older programs within it. We kindly ask that the app be rated based on its functionality and overall quality, rather than on compatibility with products that are unrelated to it. If you have any further questions, we’re happy to help.
