Prequel to a healthier me

I was just scrolling on my iPad, came across this app and decided to give it a try. I have read all the relevant information and I’m looking forward to snapping those photos of what I eat. I think I need to keep myself out of the photos though, as my tacit aim is to lose weight and look more presentable in photographs. I’ll see how I go. I will be opening a sequel to the sprinkle once I have experienced the full benefits of calorie control

Says it is free it is Not

It says it is free when you open the application it is monthly or yearly amounts ???? Don’t want to pay even if it is 0$ don’t trust even if it
Is a good application

Urgent requirement

As above I need to do this from today onwards

This is not free as advertised

Only free trial very misleading

Wrong readings

I have used this for some time but the other day I purchased a single meal from Tesco when I scanned it the app said 815. Cal but the barcode said 369cal so I don’t trust it anymore

Good

Arnaque

Only just downloaded, it’s good that it’s free, usually find you go through and then have to choose a payment plan

Don’t buy unless your in America

Worse thing I have ever brought didn’t tell me its American and nothing works in uk tried barcodes don’t work, tried manually putting in don’t work. Want my money back

High pressure sell

The app may work well, don’t know, never got to try it. It’s behind a pay wall.

So it’s “free” on the App Store, but insists you buy access at US$6.66 a month. Then you get offered a 80% discount to pay just $3.33 per month. Interesting calculation, but it’s the typical high pressure sale…. Make a ridiculous offer, then offer half price as a once off. Maybe the price is ok, don’t know, didn’t get to try it. High pressure subscription sales without a trial leave me stone cold.

Some questions was not sure what to answer. A bit more help would have been of use.

CaloCare Sucks

I was very disappointed when I recently purchased and used CaloCare. Its calculations were inaccurate and the app was not user friendly. I was unable to easily choose the food I wanted to add to my daily intake, and that led to inaccurate assessments. I wish I could get my money back. Total waste. Bitter? You bet.

So easy

Keeps me on track and I am really striving to get my daily protein in so I love that it tracks not only calories, but protein, carbs, and fats as well. Used every day since I got it. It’s addicting!!

Getting on well with the app, but so far it has failed to read any nutritional info from bar codes

Mumfit

Very helpful thank you

Not free at all!

Fifty pounds per annum!

Calorie counts

Not always on target. My black coffee is not 120 calories

Schon sehr gut

Worrisome app

My fear with apps like these is the majority of people who will use them will be those with eating disorders. We know how fastidious those suffering with Anorexia/bullimia are about their food intake so why are these suddenly flooding the market. I truly pray it won’t be something regrettable.
