What's New in MyFitnessPal

26.35.0

September 1, 2026

Fixed: If you multi-day logged a recipe from My Recipes, nothing you logged would show up. Now your multi-day logs land exactly where and when you want them to. *Bye bye buggos! We scooped'em up with a paper cup and let'em go outside. *For all the latest fixes, update to the latest app version

Customer feedback

It’s not often that developers listen to feedback. The calorie counter display was changed back thank goodness that arch was horrible

Bring Back the Exercise Calories within Diary

I miss being able to quickly check calories consume vs calories exercised at the top of the diary. Why would they take that away???

I’ve been using this for 10 years and I’m so disappointed in this update. It’s clunky. It wastes my time. Too many extra clicks for things that used to be 1-click wonders.

I’m in SaaS and whoever approved this update didn’t have customers in mind. I will be looking for a new app unfortunately.

Deleted my meals

I deleted the app a while back because it wasn’t helpful to me. My boyfriend convinced me to add it again yesterday so I went through and added 2 days of calories, paired it with my health app for fitness information, and put in an accurate weight (I’d been keeping track on different apps). When I woke up this morning all of the data was erased and it only had information from before I deleted it. So obviously, I’m deleting it again. Happy for the people who like it though

Paid version not worth it

Super frustrated. I got the paid version and most of the functions don’t work. The scan barcode takes forever, you can’t upload recipes from pictures only specific websites, and the meal pictures are extremely inaccurate. Also infuriating that you cannot edit recipes or even see what’s in them once they are created. I wish there were a better alternative because this app is so not user friendly. For something that’s been around for so long, you would think it would work better

Helpful, with caveats

The app is very good for tracking what you eat and breaking down categories, ie, fat, carbs, etc. The recipes are actually pretty good! Room for improvement: exercise changes your calories remaining, but it does not change the goal. So it makes it look like you went way over your calorie goal if you hit the right target for exercise. If you do something strenuous and don’t adjust, you will be underfueled and when you look back at weekly totals, it makes it look like you’re way off. Not what I expect for the paid version. Also would be good to be able to search saved recipes. Their bot says you can, but the instructions don’t work. (Or I’m not understanding instructions.) Thus the 4 star instead of five for an $80 app.
