Since the update in April 2026. This app is horrible.

It looks like my fitness pro is only shown high star ratings on here. I know this is not correct so they’re only showing you what they want you to see. Do yourself a favor and do a Google search instead or ask an AI how many people have left MyFitnessPal due to the most recent update and you will have your eyes open.

I had been using MyFitnessPal for over 10 years. Sadly, I had to delete the app. The most recent update has made it very un user-friendly when I’m looking at it on my iPhone. I’ve always used my iPhone to use the app. There’s so many more steps now that you have to go through to do anything. The black-and-white format without a lot of color like makes everything blended together and it’s hard to see very tiny now the print the font everything. I’d rather write stuff down on a piece of paper that have to use this App. I’m really upset about this. You guys have already lost a lot of people and you’re going to continue to lose more people unless you change this back the way it was or make it more like it was before. I even contacted them and no response they don’t care about their user concerns.

After 10 years of use Time to say Goodbye

This app has forever been supreme but now it is completely useless!! This app is now completely ruined by whoever they hired to change everything. It doesn’t even work. Calculations are all wrong. You put in 1 cup of yogurt and it calculates 12,365 calories. Just a waste of my time! I’m done.

Obnoxious Ads post update

Used this app for a while and it was pretty good, barcode scanning should be free but not a big deal, but was pretty easy to use regardless. Theres always been some ads but they used to exclusively be some banners or links, nothing unskippable or anything like that. Now, they have full ads that take up the entire screen and force you to watch and close out of them to continue using the app, they’re short but annoying and fairly common. These should not exist. Extremely disappointing and will be pivoting to another tracking app for the future. Company clearly only cares about lining their pockets with advertising revenue and not creating a good user experience that encourages people to continue using the app.

Wow. This app looks great

TY dev team for a truly good app to use or even test out to

I used to like this app

This app used to be so good and easy to use and over the years it’s just gone downhill as a free user. Get rid of the giant ads that pop up and block the screen please! I can live with everything else but that’s insane.
