Terrible

Terrible app, totally expected given it’s Camden. Terrible just like their apartments

Login nightmare

Can’t keep track of it’s on passwords handoff and back real pain

Worthless

This app is terrible. Its slow, if you click on a picture you cant go back, you literally have to close the app and log in again. Tbh, theres nothing useful about it.

Needs work to be a really useful app

Opened app. A popup blocked use until this question was answered. Do you like the app? I answered. The app froze up and could not be used. Please address this.

Low effort

Incredibly low effort app. All it does is launch the mobile website. Not worth downloading

Not impressed.

App won’t load, needs a ton of work to ensure it connects.

Easy to use

Very easy to use. Mainly use it to pay rent online or see if there are any upcoming food trucks where I live.

Not an APP and exhausting

This app continues to direct you to many pages before logging in - it will not rotate - clearly ONLY made for a phone and even then its a slight issue

There has been no thought in the making of this - i refuse to pay “rent” over my phone so an app that works on all devices should have been considered before launch - poor show hardly 5 star

Not an app - redirects to website

This app redirects you to login on the website. There is literally no difference between using the app on your phone versus going to the website on safari. Completely pointless. Does not offer any additional features. Confused as to why Camden would waste of time and money into something like this. Not surprising given their track record.

Love it

The absolute one and only reason I gave this app 5 stars is the fact that you no longer go to the community wall when you log in. I almost canceled my access because of the wall. My friends and I have nicknamed the site ‘CryCamden’. It’s so lovely to open up the site and see photos of dog poo posted by neighbors or the constant blame game on Camden for things they have zero control over. I admit sometimes we do open the wall for a really good laugh at the sheer stupidity and ignorance of a very small group of people who pretty much have taken over the platform for their personal complaint board. Sad because there are people who want to use it as it is meant.

There is also one employee at Camden who is always condescending so if I don’t have to see their posts the world is a much better place. So for that reason alone thank you for the new format!!!!!!!!

App is about as useful as management

Camden properties are not cheap places to live. One would think that such a large company would actually put money into a good app rather than a mobile version of their website wrapped in an app.

Having to be redirected to the website every single time to login is ridiculous.

But, what do you expect from a company that doesn’t take complaints seriously. Sub par staff, sub par app

Its ActiveBuilding but in a different UI wrapper

This really isn’t an app and is literally the ActiveBuilding website in a wrapper with the Camden icon. It brings you to a dressed up ActiveBuilding login and then a different version of the ActiveBuilding website, still hosted and developed by ActiveBuilding.

The Camden properties are amazing but this effort is very lackluster. I don’t believe this reflects the Camden brand and definitely needs to be rethought.

lol

Worst app I’ve ever seen get promoted with such enthusiasm. Hilariously amateur effort.

Low effort

This is a very low effort app, right down to the icon. It just opens the mobile website. You can see how little was programmed by the “done” button commonly seen on apps that open websites. I would say they can do better, but I’m sure they are pleased since they released it knowing it would get roasted. I do love living in Camden though, so don’t let the app reflect poorly on the community.

Terrible app

Just as useless and glitchy as the ActiveBuilding app.

Works great

App works great and no issues with use. It's very easy to use and quicker.

Better off using Safari... bad login

Honestly, i’m not very satisfied with this app. i’ve only been at this corporations apartment complex for under 6months, after using their ActiveBuilding app for paying rent and talking on the resident page i quickly found how frustrating it was to use their original ActiveBuilding app, and now this app is essentially a carbon copy of the exact same mess...

I HATE logging in 5 times before ACTUALLY logging into my account, i have to click my complex, put my apartment email, then i get rerouted to their actual complex website, to put my email in this time & password, once i’m into that and put my password a in-app WEBPAGE just pops up and shows the login screen AGAIN, then reroutes me to the home page of the app. Extremely annoying to have to go through, and adding Face ID & biometrics scanning makes the process EVEN longer if it’s stored in icloud keychain. what’s the point of having a mobile app when all you do is redirect it to an in-app mobile webpage version of the app. pointless to so many people.

I wish they used their money correctly and would pay a developer who is able to make a login SSO or something that isn’t a pain to use.

Finally once getting into the actual app, you’re greeted with an extremely gracility / non-informative payment page, where the charges are just laid out all over the page instead in a structured in a way that the tenant can understand.

Furthermore. please get rid of the “pay in advance with fee of” it’s extremely annoying to see a bigger balance than what you owe when you go to check out, it would be better if the ‘Other’ option was instead a drop-down to give you the OPTION to pre-pay for further months if you would like. otherwise just show what you owe and that’s it.

finally, please make a better way to separate staff and tenants names, as well as message staff with concerns that they can flag or bring into a chat either the tenant with. or an option to externally email their management email if that’s viable.
