Bug issues
There seems to be issues with the notifications and availability for what I want. I keeps sending notifications that I can book but the opening doesn’t exist.

Genuinely the best accessory camping app
I’ve used this to snag quite a few campsites and I’m forever grateful for it. If you’re going camping and you miss getting a site or it’s canceled for some reason USE THIS APP!!!

Gives you a chance
Camping sites seem to always be booked on recreation.com, but empty when you go camping. Campflare lets you know when a spot opens up so you can reserve it. Now if they would just increase the fee for no shows at campsites. We might all get the chance to camp in natures most beautiful areas.

Finally able to find a campground!
I’ve been using this app for several years because I’ve had the worst luck finding camp grounds at NPs and regionally - this has scored us so many campgrounds without the hassle of stalking recreation.gov. Highly recommend!

Doesn’t send verification code
I have been trying for weeks to get this app to send me a verification code so I can set up an account. I’ve deleted the app. I’ve changed all the settings on my phone. I’ve tried using desktop! Nothing is working.. I am going insane :(
Awesome app
I love this app. I already had a trip planned to Glacier National Park but I really wanted to camp inside the park. Everywhere was booked up. But using this app eventually I was able to get spots.
Love Campflare
I have been using Campflare for a few years now and have had so many great adventures. The notifications from Campflare have let me book high demand campsites without waking up early and hitting refresh every 5 seconds. Thank you!!!!
App issues
App has been very glitchy lately. Can’t see my notifications at all (downloaded & deleted the app) or adjust prior requests.
Wrong time for authentication check
Got alert for Yosemite when I was on my phone, when I pressed on the alert, it made me go thorough an authentication check despite months of not doing it, couldn’t book the site. Why the security? Is someone else gonna book Yosemite from my account that I access every week?????
This app saved my vacation
Wow! This app is a lifesaver. I messed up reserving a hard to get site earlier this year and needed an extra day at a usually sold out campsite. Luckily this app worked wonderfully and quickly! So grateful to have found it!
App and web search function have stopped working
I used to love this app, but I’ just tried to use both the app and the website, and the websites search function longer works so you can search for the park or national forest that you are looking for, and the app never send you the Campflare code to activate your phone number (I selected the app and reinstalled because I was getting an error every time I tried to search the app). I don’t know what happened to it, but I’m devastated. I’ve love this app for years and used it to get many last minute reservations 😢

Unable to get past phone sign up screen
SMS 2 step verification not working
Love the website, can’t make app work
I am a huge fan of the website and wanted to add it on my phone, but unfortunately I can’t get it to send me a text! I’ve closed and opened the app, and even deleted and reinstalled it, and triple checked to make sure my phone number was correct, but it won’t send me a text so I can’t get past the initial app set up. I’m sure it’s just a bug but I’d love to see it fixed!
Update: tried again many months later and still can’t get in :( sad but I still love the website!
Update: over a year after my first review, with a new phone, it still won’t text me. I promise I know my phone number! I’ve been using my partners phone number, but I shouldn’t have to. I still appreciate the app and the website, though.
