Good, still needs improvements
The mobile app for the most part is really good. However, it does consistently have trouble with syncing, where mobile will fail to sync changes from desktop. I end up having to reboot the app to sync properly. Aside from that, I feel like the bottom navigation bar could be condensed to “home”, “new”, and “search. Where calendar & tasks are integrated onto home, similar to on desktop.

Decent App - Awaiting future versions for iOS compatibility.
A decent app overall. There is room for improvement to make the application iOS efficient. Would like to see when a sentence/paragraph is indented that the Hierarchy aka Font doesn’t revert to standard, but remains as selected. Additionally, would like to be able add an image without it being saved to the gallery, not all images are intended for recall to that degree. Also, it would be great to have the ability to add footnotes.

The app summary seemed so promising I swear I was so excited!! but it’s so dull, right? No color, no instructions, like an ADD-er’s worst nightmare! I’m sorry, but what the heck am I missing here? Someone point me to somewhere helpful!!!
The impossible App 😂
Tried multiple times in iOS iPadOS, safari, chrome and for the life of me this thing won’t let create an account. Looks interesting but I give up 😩
Best PKM hands down
I’ve been writing since before cell phones were smart. I am constantly on the lookout for new, better ways to deal with my enormous writing volume. Whatever it is, Capacities has a place for it. Stop wasting time with POS like Notion. Or Obsidian. Capacious actually works for you either way making you spend thousands of hours or cash on apps that are subpar.

Needs Notifications
I love everything about this app, except that the fact that there’s no system level notifications for things like tasks and due dates. I’m basically using a secondary testing app just to make up for this issue and would fully integrate myself into this if they fixed it.
Build in calendar and task. Perfect for non-coders and normal ppl.
Like many, I’ve tried a lot of the productivity apps. Many take too much set up. Capacities connect everything you do to the date. And all related items are automatically connected. So organize feels automatic. I find that most of the fancy productivity apps are made for and by ppl. that write code. This app is made for folks who want to think and not spend time organizing an app.

I love Capacities
I’m a huge fan of capacities. I’ve been using it for over two years and it has transformed my personal notes game. The iPhone app is a great companion to the desktop app. Of course, it’s not as fully featured as it’s sibling, and might not be ideal for you if you are looking for a phone only notes app. But it you are using the desktop app, this is a great way to capture notes while on the go. I use it many times a day.

Desktop is Lifechanging, iOS is Barely Functional
I feel a touch of guild in saying this, because the core functionality of Capacities is brilliant. I’m new to the platform, but I haven’t seen such promise in software in years. With that said, the mobile app (which, to be fair, is relatively new) has a ways to go. The text is tiny, UI elements behave inconsistently. I firmly believe in the team at Capacities to get there, having watched all their videos and read a number of blog posts. Just don’t expect much on your phone just yet.

Best PKM Ever
I have tried them all. While Scrivener, Drafts, and Obsidian will always have a place in my memories, they are retired(except drafts which is still best for on the spot notes). Capacities does what they do but much better, even in its free version. This is next level.
No Right to Left language support
This note taking app has no support for RTL languages which are spoken by 400 million people worldwide!

Great App
I’ve decided to start using capacities as my primary note app for school and i think it’s great. If I were able to still use it while doing split screen it would be 5 stars. For whatever reason it doesn’t let me scroll to my content.
Give it time
On first use, I didn’t really care for it. It sat in my iPhone for months without use.
Then, I took the time to go through all of the guides, tutorials, and other materials.
Now, I can easily say that Capacities is the best app in my library. I use it every day, all day. It takes some getting used to, but it’s worth it.

Cool app, but seems abandoned
It’s a really cool app but the most basic function (share from an app via sharesheet) has been broken for many months with users complaining online but no fix in sight. The app isn’t really functional without it.
Better than the rest
I’ve been a writer since before mobile phones had color screens. I’ve tried every writing app in the store. Capacities trampled everything else.
Cool concept, needs work
I do appreciate what Capacities is doing, but in the state it’s currently in you’re going to have to deal with some clumsy designs and buggy software. So if you’re willing to put up with that for the sake of a novel way to catalogue notes, then go for it. I’m going to continue using it for a while longer.

Issues
I am not able to click the toggle to open it with my trackpad when using it on my iPad and using the apple Magic Keyboard. Can you fix this issue?
Great App, but iPad Pro Issues Need Fixing
I enjoy using Capacities and find it very helpful, especially with free multi-device sync. However, since a recent update, the iPad Pro (my primary device) experience has issues. Ticking task boxes no longer works with the Magic Keyboard, which is frustrating. I also can’t find a way to select multiple rows for copying and pasting to another page, a feature I relied on. Additionally, it would be great if template titles could auto-generate with the current date, week number, or day. Despite these issues, the app is fun and useful overall.

An exciting but frustratingly fractured experience
While the app boasts access across devices, the functions available on each one are notably inconsistent and not always logical:
- I can group multiple lines on iPhone but not on iPad
- I have to get on my iPad or computer in order to create or edit an object (something that I do fairly frequently)
- I can turn a line into an object on computer and iPad but on on iPhone (this one is really frustrating)
- And more
Additionally, functions which are intended for use on any device sometimes only end up working on one or two of the three, further fracturing the experience:
- Linking text to an existing object isn’t working on computer, but works fine on mobile (this one is pretty surprising)
- Cover image properties aren’t showing up at all
Another issue specific to iPad:
- The app is not compatible with split screen, and remains full-width with responding to smaller dimensions
Oh, and another issue that demands attention is the laborious process of selecting blocks on mobile. You have to tap every single block. There is a select all, but we really need a better way to select more with less effort. I know the tap and drag action is technically difficult to implement, but even a “Select Between” option would be extremely helpful

iPad app doesn’t work in split screen
I’m used to doing my school work split screen; I can take notes and copy/paste stuff quickly this way. I’ve been using Bear for a long time, but I’m returning to Capacities because the mental model just makes sense to me. I’d really appreciate a resolution.
Oh, and I’d also appreciate having access to the Turn Into function on mobile. That would really speed up my workflow in the app.
