Community VS Contactors
Got hacked by one of their communication vendors / contractors. Years of social justice work for veterans and health care compromised along with the hope for community voice protection.
Easy set up
As I become more privacy conscious I discovered Cape. The transition from my previous carrier was seamless. Ported out and into cape in about 15 min. The app is easy to use and I’ve enjoyed the features and the early adopters price. Referrals can make the plan free.
If you’re a privacy conscious individual, it’s worth a try. It is important to note that they are relatively new and are still adding features. RCS isn’t functional yet, but iMessage works normally.
I am hopeful this MVNO carrier does what it claims and I never have to port out. Give them a shot, if you need a referral code you can use this one:

Love the concept, but coverage is awful
I tested this alongside devices running on Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile’s network and rarely could get a single bar of coverage with Cape. Digging in, I learned that they utilize US Cellular’s network, which has not had a presence in Indiana for years. There are probably some parts of the country with great coverage, but definitely utilize the 3-day trial to ensure you have coverage where you need it.

Excellent Privacy at a Deal: QGKT360F for $20 off
The coverage is great and the pricing when discounted makes it a no brainier.
If you want a carrier who protects you , look no further
Got nothing but good things to say . I’ve had a ARP attack as well as deauth from Nigerian neighbor and cape only thing that stopped him from tracking me, it was a total nightmare but , cape has been there helping since day one thanks for your help . The big three just laughed cheaper than admitting they have problem. Customer for life, thanks guys really appreciated it!!!!!

Still doesn’t support non-iMessage group messages & poor support
Cape still does not support group messages outside of iMessage if you have an iPhone.
Previously, this was described as something they would fix when they exited “beta”. But now, unless you click their “roadmap” and see that RCS is not complete, there’s no way to know group messages won’t work. Or, like me, you can sign up, pay, and find out it doesn’t work.
Their website also contains many references to something called “last mile encryption”, which is an interesting feature and would theoretically solve this problem. However, that feature is actually no longer available to new subscribers.
They can’t provide a detailed estimate of when this feature will be fixed, other than “in the next few months”
Their support is incredibly slow to respond, and all they offered to do is give me a forward looking discount, which is not useful if the service is unusable now.
I’m now down $70 and a big chunk of my free time.

Great!
Most people want a phone that works. This MVNO does that and more. BYOP and bring your own number. On top of that this carrier is privacy focused. No more need to have multiple numbers when you can have 3 in one. One primary and two secondary numbers to do whatever you please with. They are not VoIP so 2FA works no problem. Additionally you can delete the secondary numbers and get new ones at will. Simple and all managed in one account through one app.
Just check their website to make sure you have coverage.
If your privacy eccentrically focused once you try it you’ll be hooked.
Want to try it out? Consider using my referral code SBX234Y4 for a $20/monthly bill credit for the both of us. Yes that bill credit stays as long as you remain a customer. In addition you can refer others up to 4 more to get another $20/month bill credit each using your code as long as they remain a customer.

Carrier for the real privacy enthusiasts
Carriers will never be truly anonymous but this is the best on the market and definitely more privacy feature packed than any carrier could even dream of currently on the market. Price is a little high but it’s totally worth it.
suspicious
Why do they need apn with literal 10021 which is used for firmware updates, im under cyber attack and phone interception and i think this is other socialenginering game from it, very interesting they use aws dns resolver... idk very suspicious red flags everywhere
No way
Worst
The best period
I have been using Cape since April 2025. I’m so grateful for a mobile company built on privacy. Thank you so much cape. Keep up the great work
Amazing! Like nothing else out there
I’m so happy to have found Cape!
Good coverage and data speeds
I was expecting to hit service issues with their Beta but was pleasantly surprised — better coverage at home. Glad to finally have an option outside of the big companies
Very reliable
Have been using Cape for over a month, service is solid and just works. No weird small print or tracking. Feels good to finally ditch my old carrier.
In a league of its own
The only true privacy and security focused mobile network out there. Unlike apps that provide VPNs or fake numbers, Cape provides a dedicated mobile network to handle cellular transactions at home and abroad. Has sim swap protection through secure passcodes that can only be accessed by you, encrypted voicemail and solid signaling protection. When I signed up, I only needed to provide a credit card number, they never asked me for any personal details. Awesome customer support that answers immediately and seems like great people well versed in security that run the company.
