User reviews

Don’t use this app.

This app gave me a lot of trouble. Had to restart my computer due to this app. Never downloading again.

Absolute must have if data compartmentalization is something individuals care about.

SimpleLogin not only makes your experience straight forward and simple, you can login with your proton account of your choice.

Excellent Alias mail app

I’m a new user(free version)and in love with this app. I’ve generated a few aliases for various purposes and has worked really well. I also like then fact that even when I reply , it doesn’t expose my real email. I highly recommend this app to users!

Websites don’t accept the aliases

I’m deleting this app after a year because it’s not accepted by the websites I’ve tried to create accounts with. They can tell it’s not a real email address. I also can’t figure out how to use these standalone aliases very well in my everyday email. It’s way too disconnected and complicated.

WAY too complicated!!!

I love proton mail which but this simplelogin is any but simple. Why not make it EASIER to use like InstAddr app?

FAQ

What does SimpleLogin do?

SimpleLogin provides you with anonymous email addresses, called aliases, that forward emails to your personal inbox. This service helps protect your primary email address from spammers, hackers, and online trackers when signing up for new services or sharing your email.

How can I use email aliases with SimpleLogin?

You can create a new alias for every online service you sign up for, such as newsletters or new accounts. If an alias starts receiving spam, you can simply disable it. You can also reply to forwarded emails or even initiate new conversations from your alias.

Is SimpleLogin free to use?

SimpleLogin offers a generous free plan where you can create up to 10 aliases with no limits on bandwidth or replies/sends. A 7-day free trial of the premium service is also available, which unlocks advanced features like custom domains and PGP encryption.

What are the benefits of the premium plan?

The premium plan allows you to use your own domain for aliases (e.g., reddit@my-domain.com), add multiple mailboxes, enable PGP encryption for forwarded emails, and use catch-all email addresses for your domain. You can also use a subdomain provided by SimpleLogin if you don't have your own domain.

How does SimpleLogin protect my privacy?

SimpleLogin is 100% open source and independently audited for security. It forwards your emails but does not save them, ensuring your privacy. The service uses secure infrastructure in Switzerland, operated by Proton Mail, a leading encrypted email provider.
