Response from developer

Hi! Thank you for the 4-star review and rating! We'll pass along your localization request to the team. If you have any other suggestions on what we can do to improve, feel free to let us know by editing your review.

Moving from Cozi improvements needed

We are going to migrate to Proton Calendar to replace Cozi so we have everything in one service. Please can you add option to import all the public holidays and key dates from different countries. Also can we please edit the colours so can assign to different family members or events like a colour for birthday.

Great app

Really like the app and all the other Proton apps. They are my go to.

One thing that bugs me about the calendar app is the date isn’t shown on the app icon. I really wish it would be.

Functionality feature limit

The app doesn’t allow a yearly event on say the 2nd sunday in a given month. It allows it monthly but not yearly. I contacted proton and was told by Nikola that the developers weren’t adding that feature. Ive since deleted the app from all my devices and reevaluating my paying account. In a followup email from Nikola, i was told he will recheck with the developers about it. This makes one wonder if they were ever consulted in the first place. Who knows. I gave it 3 stars because it isnt fully functional and have gone back to apple calendar which does provide this feature.
Response to developer, i deleted the emails with the ticket number along with the app. I stated who i communicated with.

Secure Calendar

UI is pretty good, a fine comprimise for zero knowledge personal and shared calendars. Looking forward to the 2026 app re-write. I tell all my friends to use ProtonCal.
