It’s 2026!
My hosted alumni email was being shut down, and as we know, even though it’s 2026, Capital One Shopping hasn’t figured out how to safely allow an email change without starting an entire account. However, to redeem rewards you need to verify your email EVERY time. Texts work, guys! I ended up deleting the app because the alumni server hosts were able to get my account opened one last time, but when I went in to redeem my final rewards, they had my account under review AGAIN! ON THE DAY those rewards were finally released and it was the last day I had access to my email. The customer service guy was super dismissive and rude and it was obvious from his response that was a copy paste from the website that he didn’t even properly read my email. I will finish paying off my car loan and be done with Capital One after that.
