The positive reviews have to be bots
Bait and switch in an app. You will not get the cash back you’re expecting. I’ve been shorted about $47 in expected cash back. When contacting customer service multiple times, I only received a generic automated response and no resolution. It’s also very inconvenient that purchases must be made online. Sometimes you want to see the product in person in the store. And then when you go to cash out what little rewards you do get? Do your stretching first because you will have to jump through SO many hoops. It makes you sign in twice and provide all your personal info (even though they’ve had all this info for the last 15 years). I’ve tried to make this app work for me for the last 2 years and I’m over it. I will be deleting it.

Very long wait times for advertised credits and poor customer service
I started using this app because it offered a $60 signup bonus, but even though I had it on several devices, they didn’t provide the credit. Customer service was very poor when I asked about it, they couldn’t even tell me exactly why, just a range of reasons as to why it might have been (which I obviously already knew, because it’s searchable online). I also purchased through them several times in the last 6 months and have yet to receive the bonus offers.

It’s a scam don’t fall for it they told if I download the app they would give me $45 reward but that was a lie
Not always reliable
I enjoy getting the rewards when the links work. Sometimes the deals are quite good and there’s a reasonable selection of gift cards for which I can subsequently use. However, Service is not very reliable. You have to be careful inspecting the (E-mail) promotions like mad. Even when you go to inspecting exclusions, it’s not all clear what is covered and what is not.
My most recent frustration was taking advantage of a promotion from one merchant in the first week of July. I made another purchase from an email sent to me three weeks later from another merchant. My first purchase was not assigned any Rewards. As required by Capital One Shopping I waited 30 days before I made an inquiry. I then asked what happened to the first purchase reward. The bizarre explanation that came back to me was since they had assigned me a reward for the second purchase, which happened three weeks afterwards I was not eligible for the first purchase. How does that make sense?

Confusing on the extension
The directions are confusing on the extension. It didn’t really give directions. Clicked a few buttons from the prompts but still got errors in the process. I’m still not sure if the app is working right. Better directions or explanation would be helpful. A short summary, purpose, a mission statement would also be helpful on the opening page of the app. Very confusing directions and needs better explanations.

Jumping Through Hoops
Should auto link to card, instead you have to jump through hoops. An App that’ll only let you get discounts on a PC?!? Make it make sense. Offers jacked up prices to make discounts look good.
Be careful!
Not all of the rewards get rewarded. When they don’t, Capital One can’t figure out why. No resolution occurs and you get screwed out of your money. It happened to me and they still can’t figure it out on their own software. It’s ridiculous.
