Great app - needs a widget!
Love this app for the accurate forecasts and clarity of information. So excited to have a CWG app finally!
The only complaint I have is the lack of a widget - I’d love to ditch my Apple weather app completely but still need it for the widget and quick view of current conditions on my Home Screen.

I’ve always followed and trusted them and am glad they left the Washington Post. I’m loving the app for providing all the information we need to be prepared for weather threats and I love the way notifications come through!
Actually Accurate Forecasts when It Counts
This afternoon I downloaded the app and saw the warnings for this evening about potential storms and cautioning about high winds. Meanwhile my Apple Weather app said this evening would be partly cloudy. It’s currently storming outside with very high winds and my power has been going in and out. Now I know the Capital Weather app is what I can actually rely on for an accurate forecast. Thank you to the team and keep up the great work!

THE most accurate of all weather apps!
I organize a snow removal brigade for my neighborhood. Last winter, we tracked multiple weather sites, including NOAA. The Capital Weather Gang nailed it every time!
