Rubbish app
Can log in to website fine. This app just keeps saying authentication failed. Never has been very good or logical anyway so no great loss I suppose. The website booking is never logical either making you search by date and then when you get to the site you’re interested in you have to enter dates again. The club really need to their head out of their a*** and get the digital side of things much better.

Joint membership
Terrible. Have joint membership with my Partner. However, when I try to log in it won’t recognise me despite it asking me to identify who of the joint membership I am. For me to log in it wants what it calls the lead members email and password despite it recognising me as the joint membership. As I don’t live with my Partner I don’t have access to her passwords!!!!!! It is quite ridiculous where a joint membership is in place to be blocked out like this.

Needs to be better
Awful app. Buggy, laggy, can’t even get in with the new update. Search for sites is difficult to use. I just want to see what is in my locality on particular dates - not the whole of the UK and I want to see CL sites rather than having to ring each available CL site. Please use some of the excellent profits you have made to get this app fit for purpose. The demographics are changing and younger people don’t have time for this malarkey.

How has this been allowed to happen! Fortunately there is another ‘Caravan and Motorhome’ organisation who have a working website. It’s the actual CAMC sites I feel sorry for, as their bookings and business will rapidly dry up. It seems incredible that such incompetence can be permitted. Who are the head honchos who have allowed this fiasco? In my world, heads would be rolling very quickly… 18 Nov 2022. Still this app is virtually unusable. I went to the CAMC stand at the recent NEC show to complain and was assured that ‘things were in hand’. But no they are not! Someone needs to get a grip of this - fire your developers and hire a competent team - NOW!26 Jun 2024 just thought I’d try it once more for old times sake - still a complete mess…words fail me.

Do you not think that the fact this app has only ONE star from thousands of users says it all?
Have you ever tried to use it in the backend of a field when trying to find another site? Even on 5G IT KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN. THE MAP DISAPPEARS AND YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN - and so it goes on.
Please don’t bother responding to this. Just admit you can’t fix it and close it all down.
10 Feb 2025. Just downloaded the latest version to my iphone 12 and… still does not work! Enter a location, press search and the screen goes blank! Repeatedly! For several years now this app has been appalling - are CAMC trying to get into the Guiness Book of World Records as the most hopeless organisation in existance?

Can’t even login anymore!
It’s been like this for months now (started after that breach when everything went down for a week or so), and reinstalling doesn’t help. Can log in fine on the website, but the app always returns “authentication failed”… not sure who the devs are but it might be time to get some new ones. Such a shame as the sites themselves and the people running them are always exemplary… just the digital side letting the club down now.

Awful app not fit for purpose
I was trying to book a ferry crossing each time it would go to the basket and say pay now tried to press pay now every time it would throw me out and then tell me to empty my basket and start again even though crossings were available ultimately I lost my campsite because the ferry couldn’t get booked Really is the worst app I’ve used I shouldn’t be renewing my membership

Worst app
This is the worst app I’ve ever used! You can’t log in (and that goes for website as well) the chat bot send you around in circles, it’s always saying your password or email address are wrong or already registered but still won’t let you in. You can never find any local sites and all the sites we did manage to find when the app did work (last year)we had to book directly with site owner so have never been able to use the offers. You have auto renewal but because we can’t access the app or website we have been unable to cancel this. All in all I’d avoid this company at all costs. Too stressful trying to use it😞

Infuriating
Have only been member of cmc for three years but will probably not renew based on how annoying the booking process is. You want to throw your phone at the wall every time you using this app. What should take 5 mins to book a getaway takes about 20 after repeatedly getting signed off and having to start over again. Compare with pitch up where the booking process is so much easier

Useless
OMG, this has to be the worst and most frustrating app on the App Store. Take an age to load. Often tells me my login information doesn’t match so I have to reset my password nearly every time I us it. It needs a massive overhaul. Also in the search, when your looking for somewhere to go you type in what you want ie adult only, pub etc. it will tell you it’s found somewhere but it won’t tell you where the hell they are. As much use as a chocolate teapot.

Does this ever actually work?
I can’t get either the app or the website to allow me to access my account. And yes, it’s not me, it’s you! It’s really frustrating. I don’t want to constantly have to phone and wait endlessly for a response. I just want the technology, which presumably I’m paying for as part of my membership to actually work.

Most poorly designed app ever…
Everything’s made difficult on this app. Booking sites in the first place then finding your bookings afterwards. Going round in circles on weblinks. Booking using the map will put your blood pressure through the roof! And it’s been like that for years!!

Extremely poor App
I absolutely love the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Great sites, beautiful locations, and friendly site staff. However the App, is next to unusable, I spoken to site wardens, and many of them have said it’s rubbish. Please please sort it out, and it’s not just me, look at the star rating, need I say more 😢🫤

Awful app
Only uses 1/2 of the iPad screen and it’s impossible to do a search based on the map as the map is far too narrow. Most of the screen space is taken up with site names & details. Map part is unusable
Very buggy - UI/UX needs a lot of work
Map search doesn’t work properly - keeps submitting/filtering when all you want to do is look around. List of sites keeps changing as you’re working though it. Price shown is misleading as it shows the very cheapest rate even when you’ve put your dates in. This really should be better.
Still useless
There was an update recently….blow me if you haven’t managed to make it even worse! As soon as you try and search the map it shuts down! Impossible to book a site unless you know the name and search. Don’t you ever look at the reviews to guide improvement? For a large organisation you have the worst app in the world.

App is rubbish
This is not the first time I have had problems with the app.! And the CAMC say is check version, well I’m current and still doesn’t allow me to use my phone. Laptop is fine.
Just dire
It’s like an app that might have worked in the 90s. You know it’s bad when it says it needs to update when you open it, rather than via the App Store.
Search function is hard work, clic back and you’ll go back to the start. Get an app notification? You’ll have no idea what it is when you click on it. Unless you have an iwatch, then it carries a brief description.
I like CAMC but I always resort to using the website, which is marginally better. Please get into this century, let alone this decade.

Functionality?
This recent update seems to have introduced some strange functionality. In map search view, every time the map is moved it reverts to list view. Why?
