Best mileage tracking app I’ve used
The app is easy to use and tracks mileage accurately. Over time it’s gotten really solid.
Worse than what our company used before
my employer switched ys from Motus to this app.
That was a downgrade for an user.
Drops tracking in middle of trips because of heavy traffic. completing trip legs dropped are difficult. Searches look at other countries (why?)
No desktop or browser app.

Goodbye Privacy
Very intrusive and unreliable at the same time.
Privacy Nightmare
My employer is requiring us to use this app. The fine print in the privacy. Notice talks about connecting to your unique advertising ID number. There’s several privacy buttons you have to turn off, including one that seems to say. It will launch the app and start tracking you. Just based on the velocity of your phone. It also includes serving you ads. They claim they’re not selling your data in the introduction. QA, but in the privacy. Notice. It says they’re anonymous in your data and sharing it.

App is kindof garbage
The program itself is excellent. But the app leaves a lot to be desired. First of all there is no CarPlay access. That defies logic. Auto tracking is pretty much useless if you’re using your personal vehicle because then you’ll have to filter everything. And finally, if there is a blocker such as insurance, there is no notification or even a mention of it on the dashboard.

Worst App Ever
This is honestly the worst app I’ve ever had to use. I only use it because I am forced to by my company. It causes me to lose money every month. It is always shutting off. You have to keep your battery saver turned off. It’s even so bad that one of the people in HR at my company said one day that they wondered whose kid worked for Cardata because there must have been some kind of deal struck for our company to be using an app that’s so bad. I’ve considered finding another company to work for that doesn’t require me to use it. Run far away!

Not User Friendly
Adding trips manually is cumbersome. The location search feature does not work effectively. Automatic tracking doesn’t always work. Need to check your mileage with odometer every time. When adding manually, it calculates a route with no option to adjust it.

Trips constantly drop, the app frequently crashes and uses an insane amount of battery life. Doesn’t actually save me any time in my day
Nothing Good
There is very little good about this app. The main kicker is that you have to keep location services turned on at all times for it to work properly, drastically reducing your battery life. The app itself is glitchy. When trying to add a trip manually every selection requires you to hit it twice. Uploading insurance is a pain and you’re not sure you’ve done it right until they tell you later.
This is the worst app I have on my phone and I would delete it immediately if I wasn’t required to use it.

Very Inconsistent
This app doesn’t work well. It will track me one way, but not back my trip back. I usually have to manually enter my trips so I can ensure it calculates mileage correctly. Now with this latest update, you cannot go back and edit trips after they are entered. I also do not like how it drains my battery on my phone so quickly. Leaving it on tracking mode will leave you a dead battery in a few short hours. I wish we would go back to our previous provider.

Great for Work
Love this app as I do not have to keep a log for mileage. This app does everything for me.
Improved tracking
When I first began using Cardata several months ago I often had issues with tracking dropping in the middle of my trip. Since the recent updates that problem has been completely resolved.
Nice improvements and enhancements!
My employer uses this tool as part of our auto reimbursement program and the app has had nice improvements over the most recent upgrades. The tracking is more seamless and the reliability of trip tracking is much improved!

Cardata makes it extremely easy to log my miles. They have helped me save a lot of time by using my location to track mileage. Great way to track mileage for a company.
Accurate mileage
I love car data. It makes expense reporting very easy and has accurate mileage tracking. I’ve noticed with their latest update that it is much more accurate with mileage tracking.

Reliable and accurate
I joined a new company April 1 and started using Cardata. Since that time I have been blown away with how accurate and simple it is to use. I have not had to correct anything and marking trips as personal or business is simple and quick.
