App is really cool, I wanted a place to keep inventory of my collection and it seems easy to use so far!

Plenty of technical tools, an easy to use and discoverable interface & the ability to accurately scan (in my experience) 8 cards at a time make CardCastle a 10/10
I recommend serious reprogramming
I just tried to scan “Haliya, Ascendant cadet” the program scanned the card repeatedly and brought back 20 different cards that look nothing like it. That’s just one card. I’m not even going to attempt to use this for my whole collection. I’m having a lot of trouble finding a scanner that will accurately scan my collection using a card slinger and actually bring back the right set data.

Fantastic app! Easy to use
Makes tracking your collection easy but has some rough flaws
I can never tell when the app is going to accept a card or not — lighting always seems to be a huge issue. I end up needing to manually import 10% of any batch of cards I am adding to my collection.
Quick Multiple Scans
This is the only app I’ve been able to use to archive my collection without burning out. The scanning is so quick and it can scan several at once. It’s made looking for card prices much easier too.
It’s a great complement to the website, which is where you can easily sort through and categorize each card.

I’m am thoroughly enjoying this app. It has everything that I was looking for in a cataloging app and even better I can also use this on my PC.
Could have been better
The app would have been better if it wouldn’t scan hard scan cards sitting in the tray. it starts to add other cards that I don’t even own from the one card that was sitting in the tray like it can’t read. Before you know it I end up with 20 other cards that I don’t own per one card I scan. They really need to fix that.

Easy and effective
I found CardCastle through a couple sponsors (namely The Trinket Mage) and I have loved it! I 3D printed a stand for MTG scanning and it’s made the process super easy. Would recommend! The only thing I would desire would be a way to add cards to the collection WHILE seeing the price of each card.

Reading Cards is difficult
I’ve been having difficulty with the app reading cards in perfect fits and some full art cards as well. Even though I have multiple cards on camera, it only registers one, which was not advertised.
Really quick and easy
This is the easiest inventory system i have used. A little janky at first. Would recommend a secondary method to type cards in manually since sometimes the cards don want to scan.
Definitely worth a try
I honestly love this app. It works so much better than TCG and other card trackers I’ve attempted to use.
Card Castle MTG Card Collection
I have been waiting for an app like this my entire life!! The app lets you easily scan your MTG cards in and create a virtual library of your collection. In addition, you can create various decks you may have and the app generates custom data and statistics for the value of your collection and trending data over time. I love this app and would recommend this to anyone. Occasionally the app gets bogged down but overall this app is affordable and also offers a free option that doesn’t contain all the features. No issues so far after about a month of use.

Inconvenient
Won’t show you prices of all your cards after they have been scanned in unless you pay for their premium subscription
Scanning is Slow
Scanning is much slower and much less reliable than competitors. It’s also extremely difficult to change the set when it inevitably selects the wrong printing before it goes and rescans the card again.
Also somehow it has the crispest, most perfect picture of a magic card ever (it could be put on scryfall) and it still will scan it in as some obscure card from before I was born.
