Latest update doesn’t work
Used to work perfectly before the latest update to 5.4. Deleted my DMC groups, then created new ones, both connected to phone and both say they’re in the new DMC group, but no voice, now I have 2 expensive Cardo packtalk edges that don’t work. Feel like I’ve been robbed.

Wasn’t God awful but obviously it was our first day riding so maybe we just don’t know the full capabilities of the unit but when my wife tried to call somebody, the headset went into a major echo like feedback.
Share music?
I can’t share music. Doesn’t work as advertised. I read the instructions countless times and watched how-to videos countless times. Nothing works
5.4 firmware is garbage
Installed firmware to my two packtalk edge units when the comms unexpectedly quit while out with my 11yo. Bricked both units no warning. Been working to establish connection unsuccessfully for two hours now. Ruined the ride. Ruined the evening. Wasted a ton of money on these. The least LEAST LEAST LEAST LEAST they could’ve done was an email alert this was coming. Wouldn’t have this problem with a Senna I bet!

The app usually fails when trying to set up a group so you need to use the cardo buttons instead. Even pairing is slow and buggy and often fails. Very poor ui is not intuitive at all. May as well not have the app at all.
Curvy Roads?
This app is so frustrating. I was trying to map out my route for a Saturday ride and even though I have “super curvy” selected as my preferred road type and live where there are literally curvy back roads to every destination this app continually picked the straightest roads available, even routing me on the freeway and down the straight main street in my city.
I even tried to force it to take curvy roads roads by dropping a ton of pins just one or two miles apart and it would still take me to those pins and then route me to do a u-turn to get back to the freeway to get to my destination.
This renders the app absolutely useless to me and my crew and our rides. A real big disappointment.

The freecom unit is a terrible unit. It has never been able to pair with another cardo unit especially Freecom. One star review, a huge waste of money.

Did the new update. Now it keeps loosing connection
Losing connection
Attempting to install my newly purchased Cardo Spirit to a Shoei Neotec helmet. Attempting to follow the instructions on the app on my iPad but the unit repeatedly loses connection so the installation instructions disappear.
Not work for multiple units
App will not work for more than one unit. Can’t use my phone to upgrade more than the one unit. It’s like a kindergartener wrote this app. If I turn my edge on it connects automatically. Can’t get my sons to connect to save my life. Trash decision making behind this app.
The best
I originally bought a unit off Amazon not bad but couldn’t hear it on the highway or at higher speeds the spirit had is amazing nice crisp and loud!!!!
Crash detection
Either required to allow privacy concerns OR has annoying crash detection alerts.
The Best out there
While I think cardo is amazing , the buttons on the device don’t work as they should. I can’t accept calls with the button press and the Hey Cardo/ Hey Siri function doesn’t work. And the volume controls should be tuned and be more independent on what you want louder or more quiet. Cardo Edge 9/10
Intercom issues after upgrade
Just upgraded the app and now intercom option not working.
Keeps saying I need to updated software but when I go into settings it says I have the latest version (4.7).
Now no intercom option and not able to create any groups as it is all greyed out.
