Save your money.. take the ride to the walk in.
Have given this a shot twice. First time I was told I didn’t meet the criteria for antibiotics (2/4 criteria) but send an email if I got worse. Never heard back from that doctor. Second doctor said I had 0/4 symptoms for strep, although I had the same symptoms as the day prior except gained a fever and headache. Both doctors didn’t actually listen to what I was saying.. and of course said it was Covid not strep. I had Covid the month prior and am very familiar with how it feels after being out of work for almost 3 weeks. Low and behold after a walk in visit 3 1/2 hours after my virtual Dr visit I was negative for Covid and positive for strep. According to the two Telehealth Dr’s “we never see strep in adults” NOT EVERYTHING IS COVID! Don’t waste your $62. Call your normal Dr or go to the walk-in. Don’t make the same mistake I did.. twice. If it seems too good to be true it usually is.
