Useless

Gave no useful service. Duplicated the service provided by MyChart.

Error Adding Caregiver

Error adding caregiver for upcoming procedure. Popup states, @Failure! Caregivers mobile number cannot be used to sign up, please use a different number.” Same error trying a different number. Yesterday the error squawked about the email address.

You are long overdue for an app update.

Easy

All instructions were easy to follow. A good resource.

Unsolicited Email

I signed up for this app per the instruction of my new GI provider. The following day I received an unsolicited email from Manifest RX. I didn’t know if there is a data breach or if this is an affiliated company. It’s disturbing.

Inaccurate notifications two days before an outpatient procedure.

This app, which is superfluous to MYchart etc. at best, is likely harmful at worst. I have a procedure in two days that requires fasting the day of and the day before. This app notified me today, three days before the procedure, that I needed to begin a liquid diet. From the prep information of the care team actually performing the procedure, accessed directly in this app, it unequivocally shows that the fast begins tomorrow. This puts people’s health and wellbeing at risk. If someone suggested this app be removed from the store I’d be inclined to agree.

Update: I’m not calling you to tell you what’s wrong with your app without a consulting fee— I’m a patient, not your employee.

Worse, my wife was my caretaker for this procedure, but when using the app with her own login it showed her logged in as me. She filled out the survey that she was prompted to, to tell you that information. I went to complete the survey and guess what? It’s all her answers! What an enormous waste of time. I can’t imagine anyone believes you when you claim you work closely with health care providers. The lack of proper functionality in your app suggests that’s not true.

What a horrible way to micromanage patients!

I hate this app. It contacts me every day to tell me about my upcoming procedure which ultimately today I canceled because I do not want to think about the procedure. I’m about to have on an hourly basis. Unless you’re into torture or something, thanks a lot, but no thanks never again.

Scam App

This app is not recommended by my doctor’s office so am unsure how they knew about my procedure. Once set up the app only gives you generic reminders. It is not interactive with your doctor’s office. Which begs me to wonder, how did they know about my procedure.? A month later (after my procedure) someone who claims to be my doctor’s office are calling my caregiver daily asking for me stating I have a past due balance. Strange considering I had to pay in advance of the procedure. Yet these people are calling me as if they represent my doctor’s office. Thankfully I - nor my caregiver gave them any pertinent information. I just told them I would call my doctor’s office directly. Luckily I did because that’s when I was told they do not use Care Voy and it is optional for patients to use. When asked how did are are voy get my information if the app is optional. I was told, she didn’t know. 🤨

Cannot set Task due date past December 2024

On February 14, 2025, I downloaded to both my iPad Air and my iPhone 13 the most recent version of CareConvoy from the App Store. All looks good except that I cannot set the due date on a task I've created beyond December 2024. I want to set due dates in 2025. Two tasks created for me by my healthcare provider have 2025 due dates. Can this be fixed with an update?

New name for an old app.

This is a new name for an app that I previously downloaded. It provides useful information for such things as a pending surgery. I gave it an “average” rating because my current app from Epic software does the same for me. In my case, I found it to be redundant. Give it a try, maybe it’ll be useful for you.

Where did this app come from?

I just saw an upgrade for this app. This is disconcerting, because I have never downloaded it. I do not know where it came from. It is not proper for an app to just appear on my phone or iPad unsolicited. Not acceptable!

Response from developer

Thank you for highlighting your concern, and please be certain that Apple does not permit any developer to place apps on a user’s mobile device without their express permission. We rebranded our app, previously called Manage My Surgery (MMS), to CareConvoy earlier this week. This rebrand initiative prompted an app update, and we apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding it may have caused. If perhaps you recall your experience using our app when it was called Manage My Surgery, we would very much appreciate your thoughts in an updated app review. Additionally, we encourage you to email our team at support@higgsbosonhealth.com if you have additional feedback.

Good BUT MAJOR BUG!

In prep for a procedure I was prompted to download the app for the first time. While putting in my info it asked for an emergency contact person who would get notifications of how the surgery was going, when you were done, etc. My husband was working so I asked my mom to drive me and I put her info in. She then received a notification to download the app, and when she did it gave her access to all my medical records in the app!! Luckily I trust my mom, but that is besides the point. She is a nurse and brought this to my attention as a serious concern. She even started getting the same pre-op notifications I was getting! She didn't even have to type in a password!

Good App

This app was very useful for guiding me towards my surgery.
Good info on what to expect

MMS Survey is for lumbar fusion and I had cervical spine fusion

So the app does not seem pertinent for the procedure I had.

Thankful for this ap

The descriptive information that was provided regarding my procedures was wonderful. I really appreciate the attention to detail.
