I used CarGurus when looking for a used car and it was perfect! Price drop notifications helped me secure a great deal and I was thankful to avoid ads, scams, and BS like on other platforms. The AI assistant was also incredibly useful and helped me contact dealers. 10/10

Been in and outta car sales my entire life. I’m always called on by family, friends, sisters of a friends friend, I’m a consultant for anyone, I look out for people. I keep them at bay away from the sharks at the dealerships. My point is, my word and opinion have to count. Buying or selling, you are responsible as a consultant to protect your customer. CarGurus is my go to 100% of the time when I’m helping people now. It’s easy to use, presented well and most of all in car sales, “TRUSTED”!!! It’s changed the way I approach the automobile industry. Not a buyer friendly app
As a buyer having an app with dealers or sellers who are transparent is essential. On CarGurus the dealerships regularly hide a number of items. On the price many have hidden charges which are often labeled as removable options once you get to see the car. Overall Autotrader has better filters and allows for a higher quality search for buyers .
