Version 10 no longer lets me connect to obdlink mx+ after I just got through paying for a year subscription to be able to use this. Please fix

Rip Off, costs more than a legit scanner
OB2 scanners will stop working when they release new version - even though car is the same and I had all the functionality I wanted prior. They will keep charging you for the app even though the Bluetooth scanner they sold you is now a paperweight.

Everything is behind a paywall
I get that they need to make money, but EVERYTHING is paywalled by subscriptions. I’d pay once but I’m not renting a scan tool especially when techstream is available
terrible
absolutely terrible, waste of time and money. can’t even read a fault code without paying for a subscription. i’ll stick to OBD11
More customizable features
Not enough customizable features on my 2025 F150 lariat versus the 2021F 50 I had had much more customizable features
Not up to the high claims and not worth the money
I bought this device after watching loads on youtube claims done by those people who get paid referral fees. Well… it arrived within two days or so to say the next working day. I was very keen in resetting feu faults and modules on a Renault Kadjar after replacing a completely dead battery. To discover that nothing would reset correctly, no customisations available, not even the oils service reset present. Tested on a neighbour Ford, nothing extra could do that the could be done directly from car dashboard. Tested on another car, an Audi Q5… it could only do a passenger seatbelt de-activation. After all those proving tests I came to the conclusion that the ELM327 saved me and done all the resets needed on each module. To add on top of the situations explained, at the beginning, because the app didn’t had anything for my car model, I’ve sent to CARISTA/PRIZMOS a scan file of all modules in the idea and hope that they’ll work out something for my model in everyone’s benefits. After writing to them and receiving the promise that an answer will come within 24Hours… well nothing received even after 2 other requests for refund, am here giving a clear, honest review/opinion/experience description, so other people don’t go though this frustration. I hope they’ll keep the 14 days return promise and reply within time for me to return it without any hassle .

Waste of money
Paid for a month of premium to be able to export data of RPM and other aspects of my drive to support a warranty claim, and all you can do is read live data. What a waste of £20!
Used once, now won’t work.
I paid for a monthly subscription and downloaded this app on August 5th, 2026. I used OBDLink MX+ scan tool with it to program the new TPMS on my Toyota Tacoma successfully. The app recognized my scan tool perfectly. I tried using it again with the same scan tool on my GMC Sierra, August 30th, 2026 only to find out that it won’t recognize my scan tool now. “Failed to connect,Report problem”… so I reported it and was told by app support that it didn’t work with my scan tool. I told them I used it less than a month ago and it did work. They said “thanks for clarifying but the OBDLinkMX+ is no longer supported”. Thanks, but no thanks! $20 down the tubes! So I decided to do a review. I WOULDN’T recommend this app to anyone. UNSUBSCRIBED!

Não liberou algumas funções na BMW
A princípio comprei o plano semanal, mas não liberou algumas funções de personalização na BMW 328. Daí comprei o plano na promoção 229 reias, porém continuo sem liberar as outras funcionalidades e só ficou para os diagnósticos. Podem me ajudar? Mas o app é incrível. Parabéns!
Anfangs tolle App, leider wird mit aller Gewalt versucht dem Kunden den eigenen Adapter zu verkaufen
Ich nutze die App nun schon fast ein Jahr mit einem OBDlink MX+. Leider wurden mit der Zeit immer weitere Funktionen gestrichen, welche nur noch mit dem eigenen Adapter von Carista möglich sind, früher aber durchaus durchgeführt werden konnten (z.B. Handbremse Reset Ford Focus EZ 2020). Technisch gesehen ist der OBDlink-Adapter dem eigenen von Carista überlegen, hierbei wird einfach mit aller Gewalt versucht, dem Kunden ihren Adapter aufzuzwingen.
Seit dem letzten Update – wohlgemerkt ohne Ankündigung hat man den Support des Adapters beendet, sprich, mein Premium Abo ist nun wertlos…

No customer service gets back to me how to resolve app not showing functions
I bought this to register a new battery. Paid for the $20 month. Shows my car is compatible but doesn’t show battery registration option. Reported, emailed but no help besides useless ai feedback. App doesn’t even show whether I have the subscription but the website shows I don’t. However the App Store most certainly shows I paid for it and I logged in and out. Prob hours of trouble shooting trying to get it to work. I don’t recommend this OBD.

Checked the Carista website, my car model is listed as compatible.
Bought the app and was charged twice for the same app.
Tried to get it to work on multiple occasions but could not access any settings in my car.
3 incident reports logged and multiple chats with customer service and still did not work.
Denied a refund even though I was mis-sold the product.
£25 down and about 6 hours wasted.

Excelente aplicação.
Aplicativo muito bom, sugestão: se for possível uma nova versão, com mais modificações em veículos com PQ25 do grupo WV, exemplo gol a partir de 2018.

Toyota Tundra
Took my Tundra to 2 different dealerships after my key fobs lock/unlock/panic/ remote start buttons stopped functioning after a settings change in the vehicle’s customization menu. Both dealerships said they never heard of it. After some research I found some other owners had the same issue and bought this scan tool to fix it. Took me 5 minutes including reading the instructions and my truck was back to normal including the remote start!
