I love this app. It makes my job much easier. The only thing I wish was different is the amount of kids to a car. It only allows 4 kids and I have several families that have 5-6 kids.

I used Carline Hound at my previous school. When I retired from that state and came to my new school, I saw how Carline Hound could help our dismissal process here, too.
Could be better
There have been different times that the app is delayed in relaying the information to classrooms which slows down dismissal.
It would be beneficial for our school to be able to have two line walkers as we have 150 cars in different locations.

Good app
The app is really useful and makes car lines go much quicker. However, there are some things on the app that I would change. I would have the numbers you were typing in get smaller instead of the keyboard moving down because if you are typing quickly, you click the wrong buttons. I would also switch the red circle to be the delete number button and the back arrow to be the backspace button.

It WORKS!!! Love Carline Hound
Carline Hound works! The car rider dismissal process from Carline Hound enables us to quickly and effectively dismiss our students daily and for events. It is a MUST-Have for us!
Such a blessing
I am so absolutely grateful for Carline Hound! I have only had a few hiccups along the way with the app, but they have been solved by trial and error on our end. The biggest thing I have learned is to cut off my wifi as the line walker. Also, we have one person who goes ahead of the line walker and writes down numbers on a paper 20 cars at a time. This speeds me up because I don’t have to answer questions or check about parents without cards as I go. We have 2 lanes that merge into 1, and that makes it super confusing! If there were only 1 lane, I could probably do it without the other person. Again, so glad we found Carline Hound!

Has potential to be great
When this app is working, it is very helpful. it would also be helpful if the car Marshall could check students off one at a time as students got in the cars. I often find I cannot dismiss the list because I am waiting on one or two students but then my next group of students is heading out and I don’t have them on my screen.

How to Improve Car Hound App
I would like a sound when the name appears on the screen. Maybe a text sound or dog barking. I spend too much time staring at the screen at dismissal!

This will be our 3rd school year to use this App on our campus. I can honestly say prior to us using Carline Hound, the flow of the dismissal line was very inconsistent.
