July 2026 App Updae
After a recent update the app still has me logged in but almost everything in the app is gone. None of my Fans (6EA)…gone. Luckily I still have the old app and it works so I’ve reverted. Honestly, like the old version better. New version is too cluttered.
Customer Service is great
We can no longer sign in and remotely control our home. Update! Customer service was great and helpful and was fixed. Also one of your fans went out. Need to warranty it. They warrantied the fan and was covered. New fan motor arrived in just days.

Works, but unnecessary app change
The app works and the new dashboard looks a bit better, but making a whole new app instead of updating the original feels unnecessary. I had to redo all my Short shortcuts, and they can be inconsistent when activating. the device control page also is mostly unchanged.
Overall, it works, but the transition makes it more inconvenient than it should be.

Thank you for your feedback. Due to certain technical issues and recommendations from Apple Inc., we had to create a new app. However, we will continue to update and maintain the new app, and the old app will not be removed. Thank you for your continued support.
Absolute garbage
Whatever you do do not upgrade do not update. This app is completely trash. Will not let you connect to any of your devices.

DOES NOT WORK
The app cannot find the Carro ceiling fan to connect and operate it.

Horrible app
I just Updated my app because I had no choice and it erased everything in my account. Now I have to go through all the trouble again to get my devices on the app. Very frustrating.

Upping switching from the old to new app, you must re-pair all devices.

so I upgraded the app, what a dumb move.
It doesn't use the same login database apparently you have to re-register and re-create all of your links and all of your shortcuts. They have a name for that.
since I don't have a login, I'm not gonna create another one now. I'll just use the regular remote and have to suffer through and I reckon I can't reinstall the old one on my iphone, but I will not install the new one on my iPad! I can't even use the app so I'm just gonna write it one star.

Hi, before launching the new app, we tested it and you should still be able to log in to the new app using your existing account. Could you please try again?
