Please Make Pin Creation and Apple Watch Compatibility Options
I would give you 5 stars but these are my deal breakers. My phone is constantly dying with new iPhone updates and once that happens, I’m not able to get in without support that’s not always available in time. Please have your developers create compatibility for Apple Watch to be able to UNLOCK DOORS. Or at least a 4-6 PIN option. This would really make a difference for home living standards.

Makes apartment living so much easier
I use Carson all the time and it’s become one of those apps I don’t even think about because it just works. Building access is quick and reliable, package notifications are super helpful, and it’s so much easier having maintenance requests and other building features all in one place instead of juggling emails, keys, or different systems. The app is really well designed, easy to navigate, and makes day-to-day life in my building so much more convenient. Definitely one of the best building apps I’ve used!

Unreliable Digital Key
half the times i need to unlock/lock my house door with the digital key it won’t update. i’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled, turned bluetooth on and off, and even logged in and out. fix your app

So good
I was happy with the newer touch screen intercoms when I first moved to NYC- love just using the app rather than a key.
Then we got Carson, which seemingly does the one thing the other systems can’t and that’s handling visitors accordingly. Ppl loitering around our building when we had bmx would still just wait until somebody got fed up and let them in. With Carson, they can have a real conversation with the tech doorman who will let them in or turn them away…none of the in between guessing. As somebody who is friendly with the landlord- I can tell that matters big time

Makes getting into my building effortless - happy tenant
Use this every single day to get into my building door and elevator access is seamless, no fumbling for keys or fobs. The package alerts and service requests are a nice touch too; I actually know when something’s arrived and when things are fixed by the handyman. Been reliable for me so far.

Main Reason I’m Leaving My Apt
This app is nothing but an inconvenience. It delays me getting into my own house, the amenities in my building, and it hardly works on a regular basis. Please, don’t consider this app unless you want constant frustration

If I could give this app zero stars I would. I’ve been using this app to house sit for my friends for two weeks and this app has worked exactly twice. There is no key to get into this building and only this app which continuously says I’m out of range while standing next to the door- even while always allowing the app to access my location. My friend who is overseas had to call tech support and deal with that while I was stuck outside the building as a single woman in the middle of Brooklyn. So awful- I’ve never had to use an app so dysfunctional before and this one is supposed to be your keys?? Wild.

Big fan as a tenant - love the remote doorman
I live in NYC and used to have issues with packages being stolen outside the door to my building. Our property manager became a Carson customer and I haven’t had any package issues since. I also can reserve amenities inside my building now. Couldn’t do that before. Not sure what it costs (it’s free for me) but it’s helped keep me in my building longer than I otherwise would have given the stolen package issue that was driving me nuts.

New UI - nonsense
The app remains wholly unreliable and freezes constantly. With new release, why on Earth did you add a new screen after clicking Unlock. Makes no sense and forces user to immediately close the nonsense screen to be able to SEE the door unlock as guest enters. App developers are making a bad mobile application, worse. There is no Quality Control and the app developer(s) need to consider another line of work. Useless junk.

Basic and nothing but
Works but sometimes that’s really not sufficient. Guests need the app to enter which no other app needs. Widget only gives you the ability to open the app which can pretty much be solved with just the app on a Home Screen, the widgets need to be customizable based on which doors I want to have. Can’t solve that problem with Siri either cz it doesn’t tap into the Apple APIs for Siri Shortcuts or app intents.

Extremely unreliable app always broken and never works, it’s the worst thing ever getting stuck outside your building
Bluetooth keys
Bluetooth keys do not work reliably at all, and are certain not to work after a sign out.
If you use this software for one of your buildings, you will be constantly troubleshooting for your tenants.
If you are a tenant, suggest your management company uses a new system.

Access blocked: Resportal’s request does not comply with Google’s policies. Incompetent developers.

I have been working with Daniel a couple of years now. One of my communities has the Carson living app, and in the entire time that I have worked there, there have been zero issues no broken connections, clear communication, it is seamless I highly recommend.
