Un-Usable

Toured the local CdC and was told about how we would be able to check our spot on the waitlist thru their app. I figured like the other Child Care Centers I have toured they would outsource the app to a 3rd party. I was surprised to see they had their own proprietary app and the pamphlet in the materials we received really talking it up. I have been unable to gain access to the app once, each time getting an “error, try again” message. Read the other reviews and it sounds like once I do actually get into the app, the user experience is terrible. Kind of shocking that a critical child care app like this is so bad from a performance standpoint. What if there is an emergency or critical information that needs to relayed to parents? Why would you continue to use a broken in-house application (with a paid fee?) when there are readily available 3rd party apps? The company must know their app is non-functioning. While we absolutely loved our tour and experience in person, this application gives me 2nd thoughts about choosing CdC as my child care center.

Horrendous

Like others said extremely buggy, insane layout and now can’t even message!

Doesn’t work

I pay for a subscription and when I try to open the app it prompts me to buy a subscription. I’m paying for this to be able to check on my child during the day and it doesn’t even work. Terrible app. Casa should switch back to daily connect, which is far superior.

Terrible App

When I go to the home screen it says "Checking subscription status. Please wait." When I go into settings it says I don't have a subscription. When it prompts me to get a subscription it tells me I already have one because I DO! I have been struggling with this App for a week and have never been able to see the Home journal feature. I paid for the yearly subscription and I have not been able to use it at all. Horribly frustrating and time consuming. Not ok for a daycare app!

App rarely works

I pay for the app and updates but it rarely works. It’s so frustrating and stressful as a new mom to know there is an update but unable to see it. I don’t know when to pump or how much because I can’t get the updates.

Terrible and stressful

This app is terrible. I purchased the monthly subscription at $1.99 three days ago and it has been telling me “checking subscription status” with a spinning wheel of death for three days. I tried to go in and purchase the annual subscription and it’s saying I can’t do that until a month from now because I already have a subscription! 🤦‍♀️ Just spent 35 minutes on the phone with Apple Support and they were not able to do anything to help. And there is no way to contact the app developers. Meanwhile, I am not able to see information about my child who is in daycare for the first time. Very stressful!

Pay a lot for the app and can’t use it.

I paid for the $20.99/yr subscription and every time I open the app I’m asked to pay again to use it. Really bad bug with no fix and no refund for not being able to use the app. Looks like people were complaining about the same bug a YEAR ago? And casa continues to charge for the app??

Cruel and unusual

Casa de Corazon is a most excellent daycare center. Their app as the worst app I have ever used. Please fix the subscription feature.

Subscription Access Glitches

I frequently am unable to access the paid for content despite my subscription not running out for months. It seems to happen more frequently in the afternoon than in the morning.

Many people have the same complaint so please fix the issue.

Can’t use app consistently

Keeps asking me for a subscription when I have an annual subscription, very annoying, this used to happen before, it worked fine for a bit but back to the error. Not a reliable app, when it does work, it’s great to see the pics and updates but lately it is very unreliable.

Terrible function

Terrible function since new app. Now the past 2 weeks the app says I don’t have a subscription but then then says I do have a subscription but is just blank trying to load so unable to see daily journal. Not able to see the waitlist or use the waitlist function. Honestly this app has been pointless for the past 2 months

Paid for subscription but running into load issues

I pay monthly for the subscription so that I can check the app throughout the day, but for the past week and a half the app keeps forgetting I have the subscription and prompting me to get one, and when I click to get one it loads a message saying I already have a subscription, then moves to a never ending loading screen. I’m not sure why this continues to happen, but I’m paying for a service I’m not able to use and it’s frustrating. It’s worth the money if it works, so hoping it’s a system error that can be corrected? Looks like others have run into the same issue…

Not the best

I’ve paid for a year subscription and after one month now I’m having issues and the app isn’t recognizing my subscription.

Still having subscription issues

Despite the new app version and significant changes made earlier this year, the subscription issues persist. I have an annual subscription good through November 2024, and regularly cannot access the app because the app states I do not have a subscription. When I try to repurchase, it tells me that I do already have a subscription, then hangs, and I am unable to use the app. Closing and restarting the app does nothing. I use the most recent version of the app.

Absurd for a paid app

Normally I would not give one star but as this is critical information that is provided at no charge by every other daycare it absolutely should work flawlessly here since we are paying for it. Every bad review already lists the issues I am experiencing so I won’t go through listing them out again. I find it very disingenuous and downright condescending that someone replies to all these bad reviews as the developer, yet not a single issue has ever been resolved based on what I’m experiencing. It is very clear to me that someone threw this app together and has no intention of ever resolving the issues. Perhaps consider that this one issue is enough for people to think negatively about the entire business and to share this with other parents considering Casa. It’s really a shame that the staff at the center do such a wonderful job and some lazy “developer” and corporate IT person put next to no effort into this. Until the app works properly I will continue to share this with anyone who asks me about Casa. These fixes are way too easy to get done for this to still be an issue. Do better!

Bugs still need work

The reviews I’m reading from a year ago still are issues today. I have a paid subscription and the updates come through but pictures don’t always load real time and I have to keep going back to the Home Screen in hopes that they do and at times it takes hours for them to load.
Has not asked me to verify my subscription so maybe that bug was finally fixed.

Awesome!

This app is wonderful. It used to be really buggy and fail to load about 2/3 of the time. However, they must have patched a fix because it works great now! I love the real time updates on my kid. And it’s nice to easily find information about events, closures, daily menus, and various Casa content.
