An Apple airtag even works better……
Cat was twenty feet away and the app showed he was 98 ft then. 197 feet and kept going between the two. San Apple AirTag even works better and that ain’t saying much bc they aren’t good enough either.
My Cat Tailer is on all my pets as back up
Works awsome and customer service is also very good.
My cat Simba
Was expecting a little more with my cat tracker. It gets more accurate when my cat is 10 feet away or closer.
Just checked it, my cat is in the next room about 18 feet away and my tracker says 180 feet away.
I can usually tell if he’s in the vicinity though it’s never consistent.
Also the sound only worked for a few minutes once in a great while. Now it doesn’t work at all.
It was a gift so I’m still trying it !
By the way, the owner is an awesome guy and does everything he can to make sure his product works for you.

Brilliant product
Helps us to find our cats all the time. Would definitely recommend esp when the cats are young!
Cattailer
The First colllar I got was not very accurate.
But I called the co. Left a message and they actually called me back we had a conversation and he sent me a new collar.
I live at 8000’ ft. In the Colorado mountains I have an xstray that runs far and another that goes on a lead with me. The Tailer is very nice it works well and I look forward to a longer range. You can turn the light off for stealth mode and it still tacks . I use it both ways on each cat because one id black and one is white. Terraine can be a bit difficult but walking around helps. Thank You for making this for CATS!!

LOVE IT!!!!
This has worked so well for me! I feel so much better knowing I can track down my cat if I need to! It’s so incredibly accurate as well! I got one for my friend , and I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IT!!
Not great
This is not what I thought. I thought I could track my cat if she got out, and set a perimeter if she crossed it, that is not the case. It only tells me basically “hot or cold” if I am going in the right direction. It does not help me find her. It is pretty costly for something so basic.
Outstanding product!
We got our 2nd unit recently and are always pleased. The units do what they claim to, and when I call the company (Richard) he always calls back and answers my questions. Thank you!
Accuracy
When only a few feet away it will say 18’-24’
Seems pretty inaccurate
Seems pretty inaccurate
Ok for an idea where your cat is
It is good when your cat is right next to you , but the distance it shows is not accurate and it goes in and out. Accuracy could use some serious help. I have walked in the same spot and got no reading and then a few seconds later get a positive reading
Cat tailer works very good ! I can always find my cat!
Thanks ,Kitty C
Poor Tracking and Quality
We purchased this for our indoor outdoor cat and after placing on his collar and paying for the service, the Cat Tailer told us our cat was out of range when in fact he was asleep on the sofa next to us. I emailed the company to ask for assistance and to date no response. Please don’t waste your time or money!

Good product
If your cat doesn’t wonder very far from home, it is a very useful tracker.👍🏻
I don’t recommend this
Very bad it says 100 feet when you’re close to the cat☹️😭
Doesn’t work as we thought.
This product is not up to our standard as well as our cats. The collar is bulky and uncomfortable. The app is laggy and doesn’t give an accurate measurement. The only thing I liked about this collar was the silver strip on the collar that shines in the dark. I personally don’t recommend this product.

If you are aware of its functionality, it’s great!
This isn’t a gps tracker for your cat, it uses your phone’s Bluetooth so the range is limited. I knew that, after researching lots of trackers, and wanted to start with this low cost one with no recurring fees. And for my cat, who likes to venture but usually comes back each night, it’s been great! I can see when she’s come back around and invite her back home. So nice to have an extra element for peace of mind! And it is kind of like a fun game. Thanks to the creators!! 🙂💫

Thumbs Up So Far
We live in a rural area and I have a cat with nothing but outside hunting on her mind. She can only go outside for brief periods b/c we have to make sure she’s close. I practically need therapy after looking for her sometimes.
I put the tracker on her for the first time today. She wasn’t happy. She’s never worn a collar and the tracker kept banging against her upper chest. She sort of got used to it, but I’m going to work on a way to attach it to the collar so it doesn’t swing around. The tracker works well outside. I could find her pretty easily and I think this method works better for cats than GPS for two reasons: the tracker is far smaller and lighter than the GPSs I’ve found, and cats typically cover less ground than a dog, for whom GPS is more applicable.
Inside, however, the distance is whacked, but she won’t be wearing the collar inside, so that is not a concern for me. I wish there was a way to easily turn it off and on, but if I had only one suggestion, it would be to design the tracker to attach to the collar itself instead of swinging from a ring. It gets in the way when my cat is hunting or running. If I had two wishes, it would be to have a direction to start. Some kind of compass. All in all, however, this is the best product I’ve seen, and I would buy it again. Thank you for making it. I will update this review in a few weeks.

Works great!
Using this for our outside cat who has a habit of being MIA for couple of days. And it has been working great! We just take a walk around couple of blocks on my neighborhood and found him 99% of the time. Once pinged by the collar, I just call out our Cat and he follows us home lol. So happy we found this. It gave me a piece of mind knowing he is around. The notification when near by option is great especially if he comes home late to eat.

WORKS....
BUT.. I have been sitting in same Room as my cat an it’l say she is 20ft away when its 7ft... i have put my ph right next to her n still the Gps picks ups she is 10+ Feet away.. sounds like a gliche? Idk but please fix...
Useful but has some shortfalls & bugs
After 4 weeks of daily use I can say Cat Tailer is a useful tool for helping me find my car or at least knowing when she has strayed farther than I’m comfortable with. The signal strength method of measurement is somewhat erratic and strongly impacted by objects and walls. Even with direct line-of-sight it commonly judges distances as much farther than they really are. It’s good for about 150 feet of measured line-of-sight distance in real-world conditions but beyond that the app may just say, “out of range.”
Even though the product has no GPS capability the app requires that you allow it to always access your iPhone’s GPS location, even when not using the app. It has a setting for ‘only while using’ but the app won’t function if that setting is used. It makes me wonder why it demands my GPS location at all. I wonder if it’s a programming bug or if it’s monitoring my location.
It’s large enough that I can tell my cat would rather not wear it but not large enough to genuinely cause her any trouble. It has indeed helped me find her when she was hiding from me and it gives me some real peace of mind if she’s out and I haven’t seen her in a while.
