CBDC – RBI@90 GC app is developed exclusively for RBI Global Conference on Digital Public Infrastructure and Emerging Technologies to be held from August 26th to 27th 2024 at Bengaluru, To Showcase demonstration of India's Central Bank Digital Currency to Delegates attending the Conference as a part of commemoration of Reserve Bank of India’s 90th year. Delegate who wishes to experience the App is provided with voucher codes for registration and a digital rupee wallet is created with their profile. CBDC – RBI@90 GC app facilitates secure, fast digital currency transaction using Digital Rupee wallets. This Digital Rupee wallet will be similar to your physical wallet but in digital form. Things you can do on CBDC – RBI@90 GC app: - Load Digital Rupee via Payment Gateway. Users can load the CBDC wallet with the International Debit & Credit Cards through Payment Gateway. - Send & Receive Digital Rupee Tokens. Users can send digital rupee to person who has a Digital Rupee wallet either using payee registered phone number or by scanning payee wallet QR Code.
