There are really no accessibility options for the visually impaired. The app does not support larger text fonts from Apple settings either. Not a very good news app for the visually impaired.

Violent show previews
I enjoy the news reporting. Especially Face the Nation, CBS Sunday and 60 minutes. But I cannot stand all the violent and explicit content in the advertising that runs. I wish there was a way to limit these. I don’t mind all the advertising for restaurants, pharmaceutical company’s, financial companies, etc. Just bothered by the advertising for shows like Dutton Ranch and similar that show graphic violence.

I like cbs news… but their video autoplay interrupts my music and distracts from reading the article… I just use a different news source instead.

Money Watch has stock and index prices at the top in a banner. Kinda crazy it’s not. You can’t explode images. You can’t flip your device. This app is great on iPads but sucks on iPhones. Swing and a miss.

I can always tell from the notification that it’s from CBS.
Can’t enlarge print size
Should allow print size control. Use a font that is easier to read. Photos can’t be enlarged. For goodness sakes - you’re CBS. Get this done.
No dark mode is an example of how behind it is. STILL!
Needs to catch up on a lot of basic missing features in 2021.
